Each hair follicle on our body is connected to a blood vessel that supplies blood to the hair for it to grow. When hair is removed, blood may follow the hair out resulting in visible “pricks” of blood on the surface of the skin.
As the hair follicle develops, blood vessels originating from the deep dermal vascular plexus surround it. These vessels nourish the hair follicle and support nutrient delivery, waste elimination, and growth. Loss of blood supply to the hair follicles is associated with some forms of hair loss.
The white bulb at the end of your hair is essentially a bundle of protein, known as keratin.
If you pull out a strand of hair, you might notice a bulb or round ball (root) attached to the end of the hair strand. Disadvantages of Tweezing:
Tweezing is not painless. Some individuals feel a sting with every hair that is pulled out of its follicle. Tweezing can also cause scarring, pitting, and ingrown hairs. Lastly, like waxing, tweezing requires some hair growth in order to grasp the hair to remove it.
However, prolonged tweezing or tweezing multiple hairs can lead to unwanted side effects. Some side effects include: Hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin) Folliculitis (inflammation and potential infection of hair follicles)
"Plucking can traumatize the hair follicle, and you can damage it to the point where it will no longer grow any hair," says Gillen.

What is the White Bulb on Hair? The small bulb at the end of a shed hair is a lump of keratin, a protein that makes up your hair, skin and nails. If you examine your shed hairs, you may notice that some have white bulbs, while others have bulbs that match your natural hair color.
