Hold up a piece of white paper or a bright white T-shirt next to your face in natural light. If your skin looks slightly yellow against the white, you have a warm undertone. If your skin looks red and rosy up against the tee or paper, you most likely have cool skin undertones.
Look at your wrist veins under natural light.
If your veins appear to be green, you probably have warm undertones. If they're blue or purple, you probably have cool undertones. If they are a mix of both, you may have neutral undertones.
Check out your veins
If you can see your veins, you may be able to use their color to identify your undertone. For example, if your veins look greenish, then you may have warm undertones. People with blue or purplish-looking veins usually have cooler undertones.
Finding your undertone: The colour of your veins
Take a look at the veins on the inside of your wrist. Do they appear more blue or green? If your veins appear more blue, you're cool-toned but if you see more green, you're warm-toned. If you see a fair amount of both both green and blue, you have a neutral undertone.
Neutral Undertones
This skin tone is the rarest - and most versatile - of all, and typically only present in women with Medium skin tones.
Green is considered by some to be the actual rarest eye color in the world, though others would say it's been dethroned by red, violet, and grey eyes. Green eyes don't possess a lot of melanin, which creates a Rayleigh scattering effect: Light gets reflected and scattered by the eyes instead of absorbed by pigment.
Kim has dark brown eyes, dark brown hair and olive skin tone.
A cool undertone is generally associated with skin that has hints of blue, pink, or a ruddy red complexion. A warm undertone is more peachy, golden, or yellow.
Blue or purple wrist veins typically indicate that you have cool undertones, while green or olive equates to warm, and blue-green veins suggest that neutral undertones are in effect.
If your skin looks pink with foundation, it might be because you are using a foundation with the incorrect undertone. Your foundation might not have enough yellow to correct the red tones in your skin. Many brands have shades labeled as 'beige' but they can be pinky.
In a place with bright, natural light, hold up a piece of printer paper and look at how your skin reacts to it. If your skin looks pinkish against the paper, you probably have cooler undertones; if your skin looks yellow against the paper, you're probably a warm tone.
The Jewelry Test
Hold both golden and silver jewelry against your skin (or lay them on your wrist). If the gold jewelry makes you look good, you have warm or olive undertones. If rose gold, platinum, or silver jewelry look more flattering on you, you have cooler undertones.
The most attractive skin tone is a healthy complexion i.e one that is not damaged by the sun, does not have unsightly acne lesions and is reasonably firm and wrinkle-free. These are the markers of youthfulness, vigour and good genes regardless of where you are in the world.
blue veins, you don't need to be concerned. There is no issue with your veins being green versus being blue. The color of your veins on the surface is largely due to the undertone of your skin as well as the amount of body fat you have.
Exercise, hot weather, sun exposure, and tight clothing can make your veins more noticeable. Aging, genetics, and being overweight may also increase their definition. Diseases that affect the vein are more serious. This includes blood clots and deep vein thrombosis.
As far as hair hues go, you'll want to stick to cooler shades. This means lighter and ashy blondes, along with lighter browns and true reds. Avoid anything that is golden or orangey because they won't complement your skin tone accordingly.
Your skin shade will fall on the spectrum between pale, fair, light, medium, tan, dark and deep. Whichever shade you are, your skin will still have either a cool, warm or neutral undertone. You can have tanned skin and still be cool!

People with neutral undertones can look good in both silver and gold jewelry. As a person with neutral undertone, you look good in both warm and cool colors!
