But if you find that you're not happy with the results of lip augmentation, there is a solution. To reverse lip augmentation results, your provider can inject an enzyme called hyaluronidase into your lips, which will dissolve the filler.
Answer: Swelling should go down over the next few days.
The good news is that the swelling in your photos appears to be a normal side effect of lip fillers and should gradually diminish on its own over the next two weeks.
For a longer upper lip you can get a few units of neuromodulator (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport) to help lift the upper lip. This works great when used with filler to add volume and also avoid a ducky appearance.
DON'T: massage your lips.
Massaging freshly injected lips risks moving the filler around causing the possibility of desportation and undesirable results.
The upper lip should be slightly larger than the lower lip with a gentle curve that peaks at what's called cupid's bow. The hinge of the upper lip comes in the form of the central philtrum that separates the two sides. Your upper teeth should also overlap the lower teeth by one millimeter.
You'll see immediate results with lip fillers, but once the swelling goes down, the results will not look quite as pronounced. It typically takes about 4 weeks for the filler to settle in and achieve the final, desired look. The results will typically last about 6 months.

But if you don't like them, you can fix it fast. “The great thing about hyaluronic acid fillers is that they are dissolvable with a special enzyme if needed,” Dr. Shafer says. Your provider will inject Hyaluronidase into your lips, and it will break down fillers within the next 24 to 48 hours.
To make your face rounder you need to dil out the area between the cheek bones and the jawline. This non-bony supported area is best treated by fat injections to change it into more of a convex shape on the sides of our face.
Many of these videos recommend massaging your treatment area immediately following your injection—but this can be harmful. In some cases, we recommend our patients massage their fillers following treatment to smooth them out below the skin; however, too much massage too soon may cause the filler to migrate slightly.
Lip fillers can only modify the lips so far. Fillers cannot make your lips look exactly like someone else's or change the fundamental shape. But improvement, enhancement, and subtle re-shaping is possible.
A Cosmetic Injector's Answer:
Over the next six to eight months after your lip filler is injected, your lips will slowly decrease in size and fade back to their original shape. The filler will metabolize fairly evenly, so you should never experience a malformed appearance.
Drink plenty of water and moisturise your lips to keep them as hydrated as possible. Avoid eating spicy foods that may irritate the delicate skin on the lips and keep touching to an absolute minimum while they heal.

Do lip fillers shrink lip size afterwards? Lip fillers won't shrink your lip size afterwards however the hyaluronic acid which is used as the filler will be slowly absorbed by your body again, this can give the illusion of shrinking lips however they won't shrink smaller than before treatment.
When the upper lip is equal to or begins to exceed the volume of the lower, the augmentation starts to look fake. Once that ratio is breached, the result degrades rapidly, even with minor volume additions.
The reason is that a lip lift would reshape the cupid's bow, restore some fullness, and shorten the upper lip. Fillers, on the other hand, don't shorten the upper lip, and can give you the “Duck lips” look.
Swelling straight after your lip filler treatment is normal and expected. This is the time when the swelling is at its most extreme. The top lip will usually be bigger than the bottom lip and project further than the bottom lip, however this will reduce over time.
Bad news for those ladies obsessed with the pout or the “duck face”, as it's proven to cause wrinkles. Good news for the number of people irritated by seeing these people pout for photographs. The way you hold your mouth can create lines above the lips.
The Results Improve Over Time
Because these injections stimulate your body's production of collagen and elastin, the final results of treatment won't be seen for several weeks. Even as the hyaluronic acid is processed by your body, healthy collagen and elastin grow at a more significant rate.
Patients often notice that their lips feel lumpy, bumpy, and/or overly inflated following lip filler injections. This is a normal phenomenon and is to be expected. Over the next 14 days, as the fillers settle and soften, the lips should become much smoother and more even.
The filler can take several weeks to soften and settle into your skin. This means that patients won't see the ultimate results of their treatment immediately. Although individual results will vary, many people achieve the full effect within two weeks after receiving their injections.
