While Aquaphor can hydrate the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, it cannot actually treat or prevent them. One of the most highly recommended ways to prevent wrinkles is to use retinoids, which are chemicals made from vitamin A.
"Tapping a little Aquaphor over your eye cream at night plumps up lines by sealing in moisture, and it's nonirritating," says Joshua Zeichner, a dermatologist in New York City. "It's one of the best products for the under-eyes."
Avoid getting Aquaphor in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this does happen, rinse with water. Avoid exposure to sunlight or tanning beds. Some Aquaphor can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight or UV rays.

No matter how dry the air is, this ointment saves chapped lips. Get this—Beyoncé has shared that she also applies Aquaphor to her skin every night. As reported by Elle, she goes to sleep with it smeared all over her face.
Since Aquaphor is thick, like Vaseline, it's normal to question if this ointment will clog your pores ASAP, which can result in acne. Both can be used on lips and skin, as wound healers, and as makeup removers or cuticle softeners. Aquaphor tends to be a better moisturizer because it contains humectant ingredients and is occlusive, while Vaseline is only occlusive.
2. CONDITION. Just like the hair on your head, the strands on your lids need TLC, too. Bowe recommends applying a hydrating product like Vaseline or Aquaphor before bed to soften lashes and prep them to grow longer and stronger.

While all of that sounds great, I'll be the first to say that applying Aquaphor as an eye cream is not the most user-friendly experience. The thick, jelly-like texture is slippery and goopy and doesn't exactly sink into the skin; but the payoff is so, so worth it.
“You can use it on your skin, and lip balm, eyebrows,” Baldwin said. “I don't particularly use it on my skin as an everyday thing, but always on my eyebrows and lips. I put Aquaphor or Vaseline on my brows before I go to bed, and you can use it on your lashes too if you're careful.”
