Caucasian, Asian and Indian hair samples were put to the test for the World's Best Hair study. Their results put an end to any splitting of hairs over the issue: in terms of health, the Indian hair is the best, topping other ethnic groups on all four counts.
Caucasians have the highest hair density among the ethnicities studied. Black people have the lowest. Asian people have hair density that falls somewhere in between.
Japan, Spain and Sweden are widely known for having people with healthy hair, but there are also other countries like India, France and Russia that are also known for helping people keep their hair natural and not messing with any artificial coloring.
Unsurprisingly, Caucasians have the most facial hair. You may have expected that, considering that they have the most body hair overall. Black people also have a considerable amount of facial hair. These two races top the list of ethnicities that have the most facial hair.
Asian hair generally exhibits the strongest mechanical properties, and its cross-sectional area is determined greatly by genetic variations, particularly from the ectodysplasin A receptor gene.
Asian hair is also the straightest hair of any ethnic group. According to HealthGuidance, African American hair texture varies. Some people have thicker, coarser hair whereas others have finer hair.

Leading exporters of human hair worldwide 2021
In 2021, India was the largest exporter of raw human hair worldwide, with exports amounting to around 165 million U.S. dollars, followed by Hong Kong, with exports valued at about 4.1 million U.S. dollars.
Asian-Americans top the list at 86.5 years, with Latinos following closely behind at 82.8 years.
