You should refrain from washing, wetting and touching your face or the treated area for at least 12 hours after your procedure. Once you do start showering and cleansing the area, be careful not to massage or scrub with a washcloth for 3 weeks after your thread lift.
Gentle skincare practises, like usual washing, drying and lotioning, can be resumed after 48 hours of the procedure. However, you must avoid exfoliation, tugging, and scrubbing for three weeks. It is best to consult your practitioner if you want to apply any topical medications or strength creams.
Avoid touching the thread entry points as much as possible while they heal. Also, don't wear makeup for the first 12 hours today. Wait at least four hours before you lie down. Some providers also recommend you avoid washing your face or hair or getting your face wet for the first 24 hours.
Avoid any direct pressure to the face and area where the sutures were placed for one week after the procedure (for example, sleeping face down, excessive chewing, talking, yawning, smiling and other facial movements during the week after your procedure.
You will probably see some initial firming and lifting right after your procedure, with your thread lift face results continuing to take shape over the next three weeks or so. As your body begins to naturally generate collagen, your tightened, lifted outcomes should continue to improve for the next few months.
Complications: Although thread lift is considered minimally invasive, some sutures and cuts are required. There is still a risk of complications such as bruising, thread breakage, thread extrusion, fever, and infection.
PDO Thread Lift Complications do occur and dimpling, puckering and thread visibility are often the most troubling to patients and physicians. These complications can be applied to PDO, PCA and PLLA threads. Most providers choose PDO threads as they are dissolvable, therefore making this problem only temporary.
You may feel the puncture points used to insert the threads for a few weeks as they heal. There may also be a feeling of tightness from the pulling of the skin. In some cases, the threads can migrate or move. This can happen if the threads break, for example.

You need to avoid this for about a week after your thread lift procedure. Try to sleep on your back with your head propped up on a pillow to minimize swelling after a thread lift.
Not only do the threads physically lift the skin, but they also stimulate the body's natural production of collagen, meaning thread lift results will continue to improve over time.
You may apply ice to the treatment area for about 5-10 min every 30 min the same night to minimize any chance of swelling or bruising the following day.
Aside from coping with temporary swelling and tenderness, most clients are able to smile after a PDO thread lift.
But, the average person should get their eyebrows threaded every 2-3 weeks. Since the process removes hairs from their roots, the time for the hairs to grow back will be dependent on many factors, but we recommend coming in for eyebrow threading treatment every 2-3 weeks.
An average of 10 threads per area (cheek or jawline, for example) are used.

8. You Are Free to Wash Your Face After Treatment. You can wash your treatment site gently with a gentle cleanser starting on the day of your treatment. However, you must avoid rubbing or massaging your face for two weeks after treatment.
It should dissipate within 2 weeks 2. Lumps and/or bumps may temporarily occur at/or along treatment sit(s). These will resolve with time and are seldom a cause of concern 3. Asymmetry and irregularity of the tissues treated is common post treatment and usually resolves itself.
Do not rub, scrub, or massage skin. Gently wash skin with non-exfoliate cleansers. Do not use Retinol products.
The downtime after the PDO thread lift is quite short: around two to three days. Like with all procedures, there may be some bruising, swelling, or mild tension in the threaded areas. Recovery from the treatment is minimal, and you're often able to return to work the very same day.

Results should be apparent right after the threads are put into place, but you may notice more in the days and weeks right after they are inserted, as swelling and bruising starts to subside.
