A beige skin tone will fall somewhere between a dark skin tone and a pale skin tone, but there are a wide range of tones it may present as, so it's important to take the time to determine exactly what your tone might be.
There are several hues that work well with different skin undertones. Warm-toned individuals should opt for earthy colours such as amber and beige, or pastel shades like peach and lavender. Cool-toned individuals look stunning in jewel tones like emerald and ruby, or blush and pink undertones.
Just remember to look for the pink (cool) or yellow (warm) undertone when choosing your beige to ensure it works with lots of your colours (and other neutrals) in your palette.
Who looks good in beige? To make sure that beige doesn't leave you looking pale, it is important to consider different skin types. Beige looks particularly good on spring types and autumn types.

Beige has 5 different undertones: yellow, green, pink, orange, and gold. Gray has 3 different undertones: green, blue, and violet. There's also taupe and greige, which are in between beige and gray.
True Summer Wardrobe Neutral Colours
However, as a True Summer, these colours are not the best option for you. Neutrals like beige and camel are too warm for True Summers and can make them look washed out and dull. Instead, True Summer neutrals favour cool brown, light grey, dark grey, seashell white and sea blues.

Putty and Oatmeal both suit Pink and Peach skin tones while, while Orange skin tones only suit oatmeal and should avoid putty. Blue skin tones work with neither and would be best to head for crisp white.
According to a study called “Shades of beauty,” light brown skin tones are often the most physically attractive skin color (Frisby et al., 2006). They used four models for that study. They did not change the skin tone, but they imaged each model to three different skin tones: light, medium, and dark.
With pale skin some colours tend to make you look washed out. Try and avoid wearing light, pastel shades on their own as it will make your appear duller than you are. Stay clear of blacks as it will contrast too harshly and whites as they will have very little contrast. Stick to greys, beiges and navy.
Tip: Stay away from flesh-toned or pastel colours. The lack of depth in these hues will wash you out, so pick a more vibrant or deeper shade to create that much needed contrast. Also be careful with wearing black tops, as it can often be too heavy to carry on a regular basis.
If you are naturally dark there is more forgiveness with the color beige however the more we mature, the more caution we have to take when wearing beige as it can make our skin look dull and ashy.
The spiritual meaning of beige symbolizes simplicity, comfort, wisdom and trust. A person that loves beige is a person that is sensitive, determined, resilient, and dependable.
For those who prefer a more toned-down palette, being encompassed by a neutral environment can feel like a breath of fresh air. In fact, some people need to be surrounded by neutrality and not too much colour and contrast to feel relaxed and comfortable. (I'm certainly one of those, and so are many of my clients).
Use Pink, Yellow, or Orange Color Corrector
As we explained above, peach and pale yellow shades are ideal for those with fairer skin, while deeper orange shades are best for those with medium to dark skin tones.
People with warm skin tones and complexion will look best in colors with the same undertones. If you have a warm complexion, avoid colors in your clothing and cosmetics that have cool (blue) undertones. Figure 2. The color green can be electric, cool, or warm. Olive color is on the warm side of the green spectrum. The undertone of yellow gives the color olive a glow reminiscent of a sandy khaki or toasted pistachio. Play with the color olive next to other warm colors like burnt orange to enhance this effect.
Warm Skintones
If you have deep autumnal colouring then you can wear as much khaki as you like! Mix it with all your rich warm colours such as mustard, rust and deep browns. If you are lighter in colouring then mix with cream, coral and camel.
Cool undertones = pink Neutral undertones = yellow Warm undertones = beige.
True Summer skin is always cool, with blue or beige undertones and possibly a pink tinge. It ranges from fair to tan. Since True Summer skin is cool, silver looks good against it, but gold makes it look off.
