Marilyn used a base of white cream on her eyelids for every look. She'd blend it all the way up to the brow bone, then apply the rest of her makeup. This left a bit of white in the corners and underneath the brow to act as highlight, while the rest of the white worked as a primer for eyeshadow.
Marilyn Monroe's signature red lips were famously achieved with five coats of Guerlain's Rouge Diabolique lipstick.
To get her signature on-camera glow, Monroe would apply thick layers of Vaseline or white Nivea Creme under her makeup, while dermatologist Erno Laszlo kept her well stocked in his Phormula 3-9—a reparative botanical balm, specially created to heal a scar of hers—and Active Phelityl Cream, an all-purpose moisturizer.

She would draw and angle the line out, extended from her lower lid, under her classic winged eyeliner to create a double liner look. Then, taking a white liner she would fill in the space between the liners to make it look as though her lashes were casting a shadow.
Suffering from dry skin (she is rumoured to have obsessively washed her face up to five times a day to ward off breakouts), Laszlo prescribed the actress a rigorous skincare routine, which differed depending on the time of day and occasion.
The classic red shade Marilyn so often wore on her nails was revealed to be the Revlon colour 'Cherries a la Mode' which the brand has since sadly discontinued.

Marilyn Monroe's Scarlet Stories
Guerlain's Rouge Diabolique and Max Factor were among Monroe's go-to brands for her textured, siren red lip.
Marilyn Monroe famously told interviewers that she wore Chanel No. 5 to bed (and nothing else), but it wasn't her only favorite. Like millions of other women, Monroe was a fan of Chanel No 5. However, in 2002, it was revealed that she also had a secret penchant for Floris Rose Geranium.
Marilyn liked the volume and length of fake eye lashes, but she also wanted to look natural. She managed to achieve the best of both worlds by cutting fake eye lash strips in half and only applying them to the outside corners of her eyes.
A woman after my own heart, Marilyn was a fan of Elizabeth Arden cream eyeshadows, opting for Autumn Smoke and Pearly Blue shades. There is also one Leichner of London cream eyeshadow stick in an unidentified colour. She had three Max Factor lipsticks, although it's well-known that Ruby Tuesday shade was her favourite.
While most women choose either brown or black pencil eyeliners, Marilyn's make-up artist, Snyder, used a combination of both on the actress. Using Elizabeth Arden's classic eye pencils in both hues, he would apply liner to her upper eye lids and waterlines, extending the lash lines with wings to elongate.
To avoid washing it too much (which can affect the colour), she swore by a makeshift dry shampoo – Johnson's Baby Powder – applying every two days to keep her hair looking fresh.
Marilyn's famous beauty mark was on her right cheek above her lip. She used to highlight the mole slightly with makeup. While she was alive and thriving in Hollywood, all the young girls and women of America went crazy following the beauty trends she set.
Hollywood icons Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor used a common grooming tool to battle unwanted facial hair: a razor. Aesthetician Kate Somerville tells Style.com that the stars shaved their faces in order to obtain completely bare skin with the added bonus of exfoliation.
Marilyn may have had a milky complexion, but every skin tone can benefit from avoiding the sun's harmful rays. “I'm personally opposed to a deep tan because I like to feel blonde all over,” Monroe reportedly once said.
For dinner, she never dined out. Instead of opting for the best restaurant in town, she'd stop at a market near her hotel for steak, liver, or lamb chops, which she'd broil herself using an electric oven. On the side, she'd eat raw carrots. And when she wanted to treat herself, it was all about an ice cream sundae.

From the sites I visited to respond to this question, Marilyn Monroe did not have yellow teeth. In fact, she had perfect white teeth. And the only augmentation she ever had was some chin surgery, but no dental.
For her face, Monroe used a natural hormone replacement, Active Phelityl Cream. Although it helped to improve her skin, it also caused her to grow blonde peach fuzz all over her face—which she shaved off (more on that in the next slide).
Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jeane Mortenson on 1 June 1926 at the Los Angeles General Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Gladys Pearl Baker (née Monroe), was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to a poor Midwestern family who migrated to California at the turn of the century.
Along with her platinum blond hair, red lipstick was the cosmetic equivalent of the slinky, low-cut dresses and high heels that were her sartorial trademark. But it was more than that: red lipstick served to enhance many of the characters she played.

In 1950, Norma purchased herself a bottle of peroxide dye before heading to a screen test. Entering her bathroom a natural curly-haired redhead, Norma emerged as the most iconic blonde of all time: Marilyn Monroe.
