The Ordinary Buffet is a Peptide serum designed to combat lines and wrinkles, restoring skin's elasticity for a smoother, younger-looking complexion. The formula includes the Syn-Ake Peptide complex which is a synthetic form of snake venom.
You can use the ordinary buffet serum on your daily and night routine, after washing and toning your face. For the day you can use it before the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and sunscreen. For the night, you can use it before retinol serum or a skin oil of your choice.
One of the reasons it's so popular is because it plays nice with other ingredients and products, such as a peptide serum like “Buffet.” Use Niacinamide before “Buffet” in your AM or PM routine.
The Ordinary “Buffet” and Skin Type
The serum is loaded with hydrators, making it effective for dry skin, and is light enough to use by those with oily skin.
Can I apply “Buffet” around my eyes? Yes. It is safe to apply in the eye area.
Since the formula already contains multiple ingredients, you don't really need to layer other serums with it, and there are certain combinations that should be avoided (see below). However, it's totally safe to apply Buffet in the same routine as hyaluronic acid.
Start with “Buffet,” which combines peptides, hyaluronic acid, amino acids and bioderivatives to target multiple signs of aging . Then, add the Hyaluronic Acid, which has additional hydrating ingredients like B5 to plump skin with moisture, reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
It's best not to combine “Buffet” with acids and vitamin C products.
Buffet plus Copper Peptides can't be used with the direct acids (glycolic, lactic, salicylic, azaleic, Mandelic), pure vitamin C, Ethylated Ascorbic Acid, EUK-134, Resveratrol + Ferulic, Pycnogenol, Granactive Retinoid or Retinol.

The Ordinary Buffet
In combination with Niacinamide, it becomes a powerful treatment for dullness to pimples and wrinkles. To enhance The Ordinary Skincare For Acne, use the buffet ordinary serum day and night, after niacinamide. If you want, you can finalize with facial moisturizer and sunscreen.
Increased hair growth
Copper Peptides have shown to stimulate the hair follicle in the same way that they stimulate other dermal cells, which is why they can be used to promote hair growth in certain cases.
You can use products that have niacinamide and hyaluronic acid already mixed in their composition, such as cleansers, etc. But a good idea for possible quicker results is to use separate products and layer them up. For example, we recommend The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and The Ordinary Niacinamide.
Use no more than 3 serums at the same time. If you're wanting to use more than this split them out to three in the morning and three in the evening. Avoid using Niacinamide products with Vitamin C products.
Don't Mix: Retinol with vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide, and AHA/BHA acids. AHA and BHA acids are exfoliating, which can dry out skin and cause further irritation if your skincare routine already includes retinol.
Buffet + Copper Peptides 1% is The Ordinary Buffet with the added benefit of copper, which focuses on overall skin health. Copper can help build new collagen and elastin into the skin. Overall it's a brilliant product for general skin health, targeting many signs of ageing at once.
