However, some people find that having the treatment in the evening helps them relax before bed. Finally, you need to consider your budget when making a schedule for your Botox treatment.
3. The Best Time to Get Botox is During the Day Serendipitously, after my very first Botox appointment, I had scheduled a massage for a few hours later, which I then had to promptly cancel after being advised to keep my head elevated for four hours after treatment.
We normally recommend you wait four hours before you lie down. This is to ensure the Botox doesn't migrate or encourage bruising.
But if you're looking for a rough guideline so you can set your expectations, here it is: most Botox® results last on average three to four months, however many patients are very satisfied getting their treatments 6 months apart. Avoid Touching Or Massaging The Treated Area
After a Botox treatment, it is important to avoid touching or massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours. Touching or applying pressure to the area can cause the Botox to spread to unintended muscles, potentially leading to unwanted results.
