10 rows while the other soaps' ph levels soared around 10 — which is normal for pure soap — the dove. The most balanced ph level of soap is 7 and dove is one of the soaps that is proven to have ph level.

Handmade soap is always alkaline (cleansing ability) with a safe range pH between 10 to 8 to use on skin. Anything above pH 11 is too harsh for skin and will cause irritations. Anything below pH8 is not possible for handmade soap, no more cleansing power.
It's all about the prebiotics and lactic acid here, nurturing the good bacteria on your skin with a gentle, solid syndet (synthetic detergent, of the gentler sort) that has a pH of 5.8, likely the lowest of all the bars mentioned here.
Mild Dish Soap: pH 7 to 8 (Neutral Cleaner)
When it comes to neutrality mild dish soap usually hits the mark perfectly.
For the skin, though, pH scales tend to be a bit more broad, with acidity ranging between 4 and 7. A 2006 study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science reported that the ideal pH level is just below 5.
The pH of hand soap varies depending on the type of soap, but most homemade soap bars fall between pH 8 and 10 (occasionally higher). This makes handmade soaps alkaline. Commercially produced liquid soaps have synthetic detergents which lower the pH level, making them more acidic, with a pH level around 5.
the normal blood pressure is 120/80 similarly the skin has a pH value of 5.5. The pH is measured on the pH bar 0 indicating acidic and 14 indicating alkaline. The pH of water is 7 which is neutral. Normal, healthy skin has a pH of 5.5 which is slightly acidic and Sebamed products also have a pH of 5.5.

pH, explained
pH may look like it belongs on the periodic table of elements, but it's actually a unit of measurement. The abbreviation pH stands for potential hydrogen, and it tells us how much hydrogen is in liquids—and how active the hydrogen ion is.
By contrast, Pine-Sol solution has a pH of 4, which means it is a fairly acidic formula.
Pears soap, pH 9.8.
“Maintaining a normal pH value of 5.3-5.5 is essential, otherwise the protective anti-aging layer of the skin depletes and our skin becomes more prone to allergies and rashes,” adds Dr Sharad.
Medimix soaps contain pH levels of 3.5 to 4.5, which is the ideal level for our skin according to famous dermatologists around the globe. These soaps are very gentle on the skin. It gives healthy-looking, smooth, glowing, and radiant skin.

Use of soap with high pH causes an increase in skin pH, which in turn causes an increase in dehydrative effect, irritability and alteration in bacterial flora. The majority of soaps and shampoos available in the market do not disclose their pH.
When we use soap to wash our skin, the ph is important because we don't want to strip our skin and leave it red and raw, and tight feeling. But if the ph level is too high, this is exactly what will happen, but it has to be slightly above neutral in order to lift the dirt away.
Skin's ideal pH is 5.5, which is slightly acidic. When it's balanced on 5.5, then skin is working to it's optimum. Throw this balance out of whack (by using the wrong products or eating the wrong foods) and your pH levels will suffer resulting in sensitivity, wrinkles, inflammation or acne.
Urine has the highest range of pH compared to other bodily fluids. The American Association for Clinical Chemistry says the normal urine pH range is between 4.5 and 8. Any pH higher than 8 is basic or alkaline, and any under 6 is acidic. A urine pH test is carried out as a part of a urinalysis.
Most homemade soaps have a pH level of 8-10, although some gentler versions can have a pH level of 7. While the human skin has a pH level of 5.5, even the mildest soap will always have a higher level because of the lye needed to create soap.
