G is the highest color grade in the near-colorless range. It displays nearly no color, appearing mostly colorless to the naked eye.
Typically ``A'' is going to refer to an ash tone (a cool tone), ``V'' refers to a violet tone (usually for pale blonde shades), ``G'' refers to gold (a warmer tone) or ``W'' for warm. ``B'' for blue, also a cooler tone. ``R'' for a red tone.
The G color grade is the highest, best grade in the “Near Colorless” range of the GIA's scale, which covers diamonds graded G to J. Although G color diamonds have some tints of color, they're almost impossible to detect with the naked eye.
Diamond experts recommend that you should not go beyond the H color if you purchase a diamond. The difference between G and H color diamonds is not worth the extra price because the color difference is almost impossible to detect with the naked eye.
G is one of the identifying hallmarks of gold jewelry. Pieces with this letter indicate a mix of gold in it, meaning jewelry with this stamp does NOT imply a 99.9% gold purity level.
The letters indicate the underlying tones—for example, Vesuvius Red, the image above with 7NCR, is a “Natural Copper Red”. C stands for copper, A is ash, R is red, and M is mahogany. Warm tones neutralize cool tones and vice versa.

The G20 Logo drew inspiration from the vibrant colours of India's national flag – saffron, white and green, and blue. It juxtaposes planet Earth with the lotus, India's national flower that reflects growth amid challenges.
Choosing the Colors
I decided to make them the most distinct, by mapping the most saturated primary/secondary colors in the following arrangement: A=blue, E=orange, I=yellow, O=red, and U=green. The next set of high frequency letters were mapped with the colors: T=cyan, S=purple, L=pink, and H=gray.
Some colour names that start with 'G' are green, gold and grey.
The Green or G-wire is a primary wire in every thermostat as it helps to control the fan that circulates air in an HVAC system. This wire is typically labeled G and connects the G terminal of a thermostat to the blower motor in your specific HVAC system.

Every natural hair color is some combination of black, brown, yellow, and red. Tones range from warm to cool, and are represented by a letter. For example, in the shade “8G,” the 8 stands for level 8 (Blonde), the G stands for tone (Golden).
LED lighting color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K) and can range from 1700K to 7000K, with 1700K being a dull match flame glow and 7000K being bright “blue-ish” in color. LED light fixtures (LED strip lights, puck lights, linear lighting, etc.)
The level system is made up of 10 numbers which help determine the depth level of your natural hair. 1 is black, 5 is light brown, 6 is dark blonde, 7 is blonde and 10 is the lightest blonde.
The key to fixing orange hair is usually to neutralise the orange with its opposite colour – blue.
Identifying Your Hair Color Level
If your hair is dark brown or black, you're probably a level 1 to 4. If your hair is medium brown, you're likely a level 5 or 6. If your hair is a darker blonde or light brown, you're probably a level 7 or 8. And, if you have light blonde hair, you're likely a level 9 or 10.
A "G" color grade for diamonds is considered to be near colorless, which is a high-quality color grade. Diamonds in the G color grade have a very small amount of yellow or brown color that is not easily visible to the untrained eye.
24ct gold is marked with 999, which indicates a gold content of 999.9 parts per thousand – the purest form of gold that you can get. It is regarded as impossible to obtain 100% pure gold with no impurities. Extremely pure gold can, in fact, be classified as up to 999.999 gold (but this is very rare indeed!).
Finally, don't let a flea market seller tell you that a piece marked G. Silver is the same as sterling (it's happened more than once). G. Silver or German Silver, has no silver content, although the piece can be highly collectable anyway.
