D CURL These lashes are the big ones with the most dramatic curl. They are a half-circle shape, which makes them the curliest and dramatically open the eye. They're used on naturally curly lash clients for everyday wear, though shorter lengths are used on mature lashes.
C curl is the common curl that matches most people natural lash curl. D curl is the most dramatic and lifted, it will be the most visible from the front, it is also the most popular.
D curl lashes (also known as CC curl)
D curl is very similar to C curl, just curlier. They are especially effective for clients with downward-angled lashes who want a show-stopping look. These lashes will brighten and widen the eye and give a noticeable curled effect.
HOODED EYES
For these clients, avoid strong curls like CC and D curls, as these will curl so much that the tips almost blend into the lid, resulting in an unnatural look and possibly even discomfort for your client.
The C curl is the most commonly used curl for its versatility among different lash types. It is the safest option to go with if you are unsure which curl to use. It will provide a natural looking curl.
L Curls are best suited for guests with straight and downward-facing lashes as well as bottom lashes. Guests who wear glasses daily may also like these lashes because they are less likely to hit their glasses.
D Curl Lashes
They really define and open up the eyes, thanks to their deep, upward-sloping curl. Compared to a D curl, even your favorite eyelash curler will feel like it's leaving your lashes totally straight!
Clients with hooded eyes should ask for the longest lengths of the lash to be placed to a mid-outer eye and for your technician to use the curliest lash available. "The curliest lashes available are a D/L/and L+ curl. This more dramatic curl allows for the eye to really open up!" says Buhler.
L Curl Lash Extensions
The l curls have a flat and straight base that provides a good attachment between the natural eyelashes and the lash extensions. This type of lash extension is perfect for individuals with eyelids that are hooded and droopy, they will brighten and open them up.
An L curl is ideal for clients with hooded lids or downward pointing lashes to create a glamorous lash lift look to their eyes. Top tip: tape back the lid so you can get as close to the lash line as possible.
L curl - is often used for asian clients, or those whose lashes grow down; this curl is used for natural look. Because of it's flat base, the attachment between natural and faux lash is lasting and secure.
Just like the name implies, the CC Curl eyelash extension is like the C Curl but with a more dramatic flair! The CC Curl starts with a similar base to the C Curl. However, when it comes to the curl itself, the CC Curl changes things up with a more extreme curl.
For thin natural lash
Translate that into the safe weight for volume lash fans, this is the recommended volume fan usage. 1 of 0.10mm = 2D fan of 0.07mm = 4D fan of 0.05mm = 10D fan of 0.03mm.
JC Curl. This curl has slightly more curl than J and is closest to our own natural lashes. Ideal for those going for more of a natural look and is a popular lash for this reason. B Curl. This curl will give you the added lift while still staying fairly natural.
The C curl is closest to most people's natural lash curl and provides a more natural look. The D curl is more dramatic and really opens up the eye!
Therefore, when choosing eyelash extensions, the rule of thumb is that the extensions should be at 3mm-5mm longer than your natural lashes. Moreover, the diameter of the extensions should be as close as possible to the diameter of your natural lashes.
A Hybrid lash treatment is a combination of two techniques: Volume (SVS or Russian) and Individual lash extensions (Extend). Taking the best bits from both treatments, Hybrid Lashes will give you volume and length, resulting in a wispy, textured lash extension look that last for up to 8 weeks.
What does it mean if you have deep set eyes? Well, it simply means what it says. The eyes are set into the skull, which is farther in than most people's eyes are. Some may also refer to this as “deep seated eyes.” People with deep set eyes usually give an illusion of having a very prominent brow bone.
M curl is a stronger curl than the L curl and it helps to make your client's eye more vivid and defined. In fact, the curl is as strong as D curl but is the perfect curl to cover the iris of the eye, whilst it has a shorter adherent surface to ensure the curl starts from the root of the lash.
0.10mm Thickness
0.1mm is on average the same thickness as your natural lash. Classic lashes with 0.01 thickness would look very natural. They are extremely suitable for fine and twisty lashes providing a longer and fuller look.
9mm to 12 mm are the most popular sizes. Do not be fooled, longer lashes are not always better. In fact, using lashes longer than 14mm will weigh down your natural lash.
