It's perfectly fine to pray without a head covering at home. You'll even see some churches not enforcing that rule. In any case, it's not sinful to not wear a head covering.
The apostle Paul is not imposing any restrictions on prayer; he ends this discourse on this matter with: I Cor 11:16 NCB "However, if anyone wishes to argue further on this point, we have no such custom to do so, nor do any of the Churches of God".

There is nowhere in the Bible where we're told that Satan can read our thoughts, and thus hear our silent prayers. Scripture never states that angels are all-knowing. And if a holy angel isn't omniscient, neither is a fallen one like Satan.
