Juvederm Volbella XC is most commonly used for lip enhancement and treating fine lines around the mouth. Juvederm Voluma XC is a thicker substance that is used to treat deeper wrinkles on the cheeks as well as volume loss that has occurred across the face.
Vollure can be placed both superficially and deep and can be used both around the mouth and in the cheeks. Volbella is the finest of these fillers and ideal for filling fine lines and wrinkesl and is meant to be injected superficially. Volbella is also FDA approved for use in the lips like Juvederm.
When it comes to the cheeks, the most common form of Juvederm generally chosen is Juvederm Voluma XC. This is one of the densest Juvederm fillers available, one designed to add volume under the skin's surface while contouring the cheek area to your liking.
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines (lines around the mouth), often called lipstick lines, vertical lip lines, or lip wrinkles, in adults over the age of 21.
Juvederm Can Add Volume to the Cheeks
In addition to wrinkles, a telltale sign of aging is lost volume in the cheeks. Patients with sunken or hollowed out cheeks may feel as though they look older than they feel inside or actually are, causing embarrassment and mixed emotions.
Juvéderm for Sunken Cheeks? To help restore lost volume in the cheeks, so you have a fuller, more youthful look, you're likely to need one syringe per cheek.
Many plastic surgeons say that Juvederm and Restylane are the most durable and longest-lasting fillers available. Both contain hyaluronic acid and are good for smoothing wrinkles and lines. Hyaluronic acid carries 1,000 times its weight in water and makes the skin look young, supple, and soft.
Volbella is one in a line of dermal fillers made by Juvederm. This elite, FDA-approved injectable line uses hyaluronic acid to stimulate collagen production and better hydration in the skin.
Answer: Lasting results from JUVÉDERM®.
For a longer lasting result, you should look into JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC as an alternative, as this type tends to last up to a year.
Juvederm Vollure® is considered lighter than Voluma, but fuller than Volbella and boasts a perfect balance between the three. In most cases, it lasts up to 2 years, which is longer than many other dermal fillers on the market. It's no surprise that Juvederm® is one of the top choices for millions of people each year.
Cheeks—Juvederm Ultra Plus XC—-2 syringes, one for each side. Temples—Juvederm Ultra Plus XC—-1 syringe or Sculptra. If doing overall “re-volumizing”-—Sculptra 2 vials per treatment, 3 treatments, (total 6 vials)
Cheeks: Cheeks are very versatile and also the most challenging region of your face to treat. For each treatment, you'll need 10 to 15 filler syringes. Injecting too much filler might result in undesirable side effects, including a “duck-billed” appearance.
Using Fillers for Slimming and Contouring a Round Face
This minimally invasive procedure can also be used for facial slimming and cheek enhancement by plumping sagging cheeks and lifting them to create a slimmer and narrower appearance.
Juvederm Voluma is an incredibly natural looking filler to lift the cheeks and improve volume in the mid face. Even a syringe or two and can make you look less tired and hollow and subtly raise a sagging jawline.
Answer: Filler
Yes you can use the same product but usually each site has a specifically designed filler. Softer hydrating fillers are best for the lips, whereas thicker volumizing fillers are best for the cheeks.
A 1ml syringe of Volbella can run upwards of $800 in the hands of an experienced injector. Not all lips need the same amount of filler. While many practices have a price per syringe, the cost of lip injections varies depending on the patient and the desired results.
VOLBELLA® is a great choice for those who have smaller lips and want to gradually add a little volume over time, or for those who want to make subtle changes to the structure and size of their lips. This filler creates a natural looking, subtle increase.
The results from Volbella injections are relatively instant, but it may take up to 2 weeks to see your final results. You may experience some redness, swelling, or bruising immediately following your Volbella treatment, but this should subside within 24-48 hours.
Avoid heat such as sunbathing, hot showers, hot tubs, outdoors on hot days or extreme cold for 2 weeks after injections. Touch ups may be done in 1-2 weeks if needed, but waiting for 6-8 weeks is recommended. Avoid laser, IPL or skin tightening treatments of the areas for at least 2-3 weeks.
Volbella is a wonderful hyaluronic-acid based dermal filler that creates very natural looking and feeling lip augmentations. It's my filler of choice when adding just a touch of volume.
Answer: Volbella Injection Results
Both should subside within about 2 weeks after injection resulting in the results you were looking for. Volbella is a very soft filler and works great around the mouth with very natural results.
The effects of the fillers will wear off after months or years, but the treated area is likely to return to its original state. The benefits of both Botox and fillers will be gone and you'll notice that those lines and volume loss will come back.
Dermal filler will not cause the skin to stretch and sag, once the filler naturally breaks down. The only case where this would happen is if the face were to be grossly overfilled with extreme amounts of dermal fillers, which is something we most certainly do not do at Cityskin.
