There is no scripture forbidding women to trim their hair. The verses you cite refer to the command for women to be shorn, meaning shaved bald, if they refused to cover their heads when praying or prophesying.

In 1 Corinthians 11:3-15, Paul writes that if a woman is to be so immodest as to wear her hair uncovered while praying or prophesying in a Christian assembly she might as well shave her head. Paul instructs the Corinthians that it is “one and the same” for a woman to have her head shaved and for her to unveil her hair.
The beautiful thing about cutting your hair is that only you can define what it means to you. The clippers or other people don't define it. Rather it's wanting drastic change or just out of boredom, women have many reasons for shaving their hair off. No matter if the reason is big or small, it is still important.

To call one a "bald head" was an epithet of contempt, and was sometimes applied to persons who were not naturally bald. It is this type of false worship the Bible forbids. Shaving one's beard and cutting one's hair for normal good grooming is something entirely different and not at all condemned in the Scriptures. In that day, a man having long hair was likely to impersonate a woman, so unless it was done for God, as Paul does in Acts 18:18 and as Samson did, according to Nazirite law (Judges 16:17). Essentially, the long hair itself is not a sin; in fact, it can be used to bring honor to God, as seen in the examples before.
