Uneven, lumpy lips are a common sign of bad lip fillers. They usually occur for one of several reasons. The technique used by your provider could be incorrect, or a filler with too much viscosity has been used. In some cases, lumpiness can occur as a result of an allergic reaction.
Avoid using drinking straws or smoking for at least 24 hours, as well. Puckering or contracting your lips may disturb the lip filler, too. You should also avoid drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours, as alcohol thins your blood, which can make bruising on your lips worse.

Although extremely rare, dermal fillers are able to migrate within the skin if consistent and adequate pressure is applied to them. For this reason, we advise patients not to get a facial, massage (on the treated skin), or microdermabrasion for the first two weeks following their filler injections.
You may experience considerable swelling during the first two days of getting a lip filler injection. However, this swelling should subside by the fourth day. There have been cases reported that occurred 12-24 hours after being injected but almost always it occurs immediately. Tissue death (necrosis)

Patients tend to report that lip swelling is the worst the first day after their injection, particularly in the morning. Swelling should go down within 2–3 days after your lip filler treatment, and should subside completely within 2 weeks post-treatment.
While it is possible for fillers to migrate, this side effect is extremely rare and can be avoided by choosing a qualified injector. Though filler migration is very uncommon, its likelihood increases when fillers are performed by an inexperienced or underqualified injector.
Kissing can apply a lot of pressure to the lips and increase risk of infection (there is a lot of bacteria in the mouth!), so it is best to avoid kissing for 48–72 hours after getting lip filler treatment. Your lips will probably be a bit tender and swollen, so kissing might not be that appealing anyway!
Filler migration can also occur by over-injecting the lips. Movement can happen if too much filler is placed at once. Though no set amount causes a migrating-like effect – even small amounts can shift – it's best to stage out significant volume enhancement over time.
