For people who get wrinkles, crepiness, or loose skin, this treatment has proven to be exemplary. It removes wrinkles from your skin and makes it appear clear, spotless, and flawless. By tightening your skin, it lifts it and makes you look younger and fresher.
Profhilo makes the skin glow and fine lines and wrinkles are reduced, or can disappear. You'll notice smoother, tighter skin, and after just a single course of Profhilo, which involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart, you can expect to see intense hydration of the skin.
As well as filling lines and wrinkles, Profhilo® tightens and firms loose facial skin, delivering visible improvements after just two treatments.
These little lumps generally only last between 3-24 hours. You will see results within a week with your skin becoming more supple and smoother. You will need 2 Profhilo treatments 4-weeks apart.
Profhilo is especially effective at treating loose skin in the neck, cheek and jowls as well as other areas usually considered difficult to treat with injectable products, such as the: Temples. Lines around the mouth and chin. Forehead.
Treatment with Profhilo improves skin tone, texture, hydration and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer-looking skin. Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas, but can also be used to rejuvenating the neck, decollete, arms, knees and hands.
The Profhilo and fillers benefits are different
Whilst dermal fillers are used for altering the shape of facial features (goodbye, bumpy nose and hello, plump lips), replacing lost volume due to ageing and contouring, Profhilo doesn't have any role in volumising or restructuring the face.
While you may see an improvement immediately after the first treatment, the best results are visible around 4 weeks after the second treatment. After 8 weeks, your skin will also appear more hydrated, healthy and youthful.
Not only does PROFHILO firm and plump the skin in a way that neither Botox or Dermal Fillers can, it effectively remodels the dermal tissues to deliver superior skin rejuvenative effects resulting in smoother, brighter, hydrated skin.
How many mls of Profhilo do you need? You will require 2 mls spread over 10 injection points. At the start, you will need two induction sessions one month apart then one session every 4 - 6 months for maintenance.
While Profhilo is not injected directly around the eye area, Profhilo under eyes treatment is one of our most requested places to treat. When injected lower down the face, Prohilo can dramatically smooth the eye area with less downtime than most under-eye laser treatments.
Popular areas of the face and body to undergo treatment with PROFHILO include nasolabial folds, marionette lines, lines and wrinkles in the upper face and chest, and in revolumising areas such as the backs of hands.
How many Profhilo treatments will I need? Initially, you will need 2 sessions four weeks apart to get the maximum benefit. If the skin laxity is quite severe, you may need a third treatment a month later. To maintain the results, get a single treatment every 3 months or the full course every 6 months.
An injectable moisturiser for ultra-hydration
Elastin fibres become more susceptible to wear-and-tear as we age and the production of collagen naturally slows down, so this simple procedure can not only help to slow down the signs of ageing, but help to protect against it too.
PROFHILO® is indicated for the treatment of the face and body, in particular for the treatment of the malar-zygomatic and submalar areas. An initial cycle of two sessions at 30-day intervals is recommended, followed if necessary by maintenance procedures every 2 months.
Is it really worth it, though? Many customers ask “Is Profhilo worth it?” The simple answer is, yes it is. It is fast-acting, effective, minimally-invasive, and do not carry the same risks as other procedures. It provides you with healthy, plumper, and fresher skin and a radiant glow that will shave years off you.
Avoid cosmetic products containing Retinoids for 3 days either side of the procedure. Do not wear compressive masks, helmets or goggles for 5 days after treatment. Similarly avoid lying face down on treatment tables.
Profhilo is designed to flow over a larger area and boost hydration, thus smoothing out and rejuvenating the skin. It does not change our face shape or add volume, in contrast to traditional fillers.
Anyone who presents signs of skin aging (dull, sagging skin, volume loss, fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity and crepe-like texture, etc.) and is suitable for dermal filler treatments is also suitable for treatment with Profhilo.
When Profhilo is administered by someone who is appropriately qualified, trained and experienced the risks of something going wrong are very, very low. However, in inexperienced hands, Profhilo injections can be dangerous.
Generally, if you would like to achieve a more holisitc result that can be seen across your face, Profhilo® is the best treatment for you. However, if you would rather make small changes to certain areas of your face such as your cheeks, dermal fillers are more suitable for you.
Common side-effects of Profhilo are similar to other types of fillers and include mild bruising and swelling. Risks are the same as other fillers and can include allergic reaction or infection though these are exceptionally rare.
Mixing both Profhilo or Juvederm Volbella with PDO threads is a great way to get rid of wrinkles above your lips as it allows the neo-vascularisation and collagen regeneration to happen through a growth factor release, which in turns gives the treatments the best possible results.
Can you have a Profhilo treatment at the same time as Botox & fillers? You can have a Botox treatment at the same time, but it's not advised to have the treatment with other fillers in the same area of injections.
Profhilo injections can be used to add volume to specific areas like the temples, forehead, cheeks and jowls. Skin laxity can be improved with Profhilo neck injections and loose skin in the upper arms can be tightened with Profhilo arm injections.
