In order from longest lasting to shortest lasting lip fillers we have: Restylane Kysse (12 months) Juvederm Volbella (12 months) Revanesse Versa (8-12 months)
While the lifespan of dermal fillers can vary considerably between patients, depending on the product, your lifestyle and unique metabolism, Juvederm is the longest-lasting temporary lip filler with results visible for up to a year. Restylane comes in at a close second, with results lasting between 6-10 months.
Restylane Kysse can subtly enhance the fullness of the lip body and add definition to the border to create soft, natural looking lips. Versa is a remarkable hyaluronic acid filler. The particles within are uniquely spherical and uniform, providing the perfect balance between smoothness and volume.
Kysse. Kysse is a lip filler that allows for flexible movement and volume that looks natural, not contrived or obvious. Once injected with Kysse, results can last anywhere from one to three years.
Long-Lasting Results
Most people who receive Versa have results lasting 12 months or more. The proprietary Thixofix cross-linking design breaks down more slowly over time than other fillers.
Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid filler, the same active ingredient in Juvederm and Restylane. However, Versa uses a unique cross-linked HA formula to produce a filler with superior qualities. RV injects more easily, produces a more natural result, is easier to shape and lasts longer than the competition.
How Long Does Versa+ Last? Just like other fillers, depending on how quickly your body metabolizes Versa+ your treatment will typically last 3-6 months. Lip injections typically last closer to 3 months because of the extreme movement in that area. Areas around the eyes and cheeks will typically last closer to 6 months.
Consistently protecting your skin (and lips!) against the harmful rays of the sun can significantly extend the life of all dermal fillers, including Restylane Kysse. While exposing your lips to the sun, be sure to wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 45 or higher to protect yourself from direct UV radiation.
The difference with Restylane® Kysse is that it allows for enhanced flexibility during lip movements, natural looking soft volume, and enhanced texture (fewer wrinkles) and color in the lips.
Our patients especially love Revanesse Versa for adding structure and volume to their lips. It has one of the densest concentrations of HA molecules of any dermal filler on the market and comes with 20% more volume per syringe than others.
ULTRA® is for the more dramatic lip volume seeker, who won't be satisfied with anything less than the perfect pout.
Kylie prefers Juvederm, a brand of filler that's owned by Allergan. While there are different types of Juvederm fillers, Kylie's team goes for Juvederm Ultra Plus.
Why Are Filler Results Temporary? Dermal fillers are created using naturally occurring enzymes, such as hyaluronic acid. For this reason, they are metabolized by your body over time. The speed of your metabolism will greatly affect how long your treatment results last.
Restylane Kysse is one of the longest-lasting lip filler options, and some patients can enjoy results for up to 12 months. Juvederm Ultra XC and Juvederm Volbella XC can last 6-12 months.
Kysse is one of the more affordable fillers at $750 per syringe. With a result duration of 9-12 months, and over 86% of treated patients saying they would choose Kysse, Kysse is a great choice for both results and cost-effectiveness.
In general, we recommend returning for lip augmentation maintenance every 4 to 6 months to keep your lips looking as natural and plump as they were after your initial injections. However, some studies show Restalyne Kysse results can last up to one year.
People with higher metabolisms will experience shorter filler results because their bodies will break the filler compound down faster than those with slower metabolisms. The same goes for other treatments such as BOTOX® and Dysport®.
Why you ask? Unlike other dermal fillers, Bellafill has been FDA approved and clinically proven to last for up to 5 years. Half a decade. Yes, use Bellafill once to fill in smile lines and it'll last up to 5 years.
Volbella lasts about 12 months. You can get repeat treatments every six months. Scientists have found that hyaluronic acid injections prompt the skin to produce more collagen, creating more natural plumpness in the lips.
Some dermal fillers have been studied to last close to two years. The three fillers that tend to last the longest are Restylane Lyft, Restylane Defyne, Restylane Refyne, Juvederm, Voluma, Radiesse, and Sculptra.
Many plastic surgeons say that Juvederm and Restylane are the most durable and longest-lasting fillers available. Both contain hyaluronic acid and are good for smoothing wrinkles and lines. Hyaluronic acid carries 1,000 times its weight in water and makes the skin look young, supple, and soft.
What Does Revanesse Versa Cost? Revanesse Versa is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler. The typical retail cost of a 1 cc syringe of hyaluronic acid filler is $500 to $625, according to this recent dermal filler treatment pricing sheet. Providers pay between $240 and $350 per syringe, depending on the filler.
The primary benefit of Revanesse Versa vs. Juvéderm is the fact that Revanesse Versa lasts longer and does not break down as quickly as other common fillers.
