While the results seen with JUVÉDERM® dermal fillers are long-lasting, you may be wondering whether the duration of JUVÉDERM® extends with repeat treatments. According to Dr. Krant, you will notice that your results will last longer after repeat injections.
Dosage of the Injection
It may seem like common sense, but small dose injections will dissipate more quickly than larger doses. Areas that require multiple injections placed closely together will also retain the injectables longer.
This filler works naturally, much like the hyaluronic acid your body already produces. Because it works this way, it takes two to three weeks to fully settle into your skin. This means that while you'll see an immediate improvement, you won't see your final results right away.
Which Juvederm lasts the longest? Juvederm Voluma lasts the longest of all the Juvederm products. It is very thick and is great for building and creating volume. Voluma is beautiful for the cheeks and jawline, and can even be used to treat marionette lines.
One syringe of Juvederm is sometimes sufficient for mild nasolabial folds. For lip augmentation, one syringe will sculpt and enhance the lips. The change will be noticeable but subtle. Two syringes will give a more dramatic size increase and enhancement.
Still, there is generally no need to receive multiple treatments within a year. To achieve and maintain your ideal results, it is recommended to schedule treatments for every one to two years.

Your metabolism determines how long your lip filler will last. The same bodily mechanism that regulates how quickly you metabolize calories determines how fast your filler will break down. In short: if you have a fast metabolism, your lip filler will likely break down more quickly.
However, the use of too much filler results in overly puffy cheeks which look unnatural and inappropriate for their age. The pursuit of the “apple cheeks” have also contributed to this syndrome. Overfilling in the cheeks and under the eyes obliterates the natural lid-cheek junction.

Inferior hyaluronic acid products might last for only 3 to 6 months. But Juvederm and Restylane products can last up to 24 months with maintenance treatments — the specific longevity of each product depends on the formulation and treatment area.
Depending on the injection site and amount of dermal filler, most HA fillers last from 6 – 12 months on average. Regardless of which dermal filler you use, two or three syringes are almost always recommended in order to achieve the most gorgeous outcomes.
Answer: Time between Treatment
I recommend waiting a minimum of 2 weeks before getting another injection of filler as you may have some swelling and bruising. I recommend contacting your injector with any concerns you may have.
