Put all your other makeup on first before applying your magnetic false eyelashes. Otherwise, the lashes could smudge your other makeup during the application process. Apply mascara to the inside corners of your natural lashes. Magnetic false lashes only cover the outer corners of your eyes.
Since magnetic eyelashes are nothing short of dramatic, you'll want to wear eye makeup that matches the bold statement of your lashes. We love pairing them with a classic black smoky eye!
Apply your eyeshadow design and curl your lashes with the MoxieLash Curler. If you are using mascara, you can apply that before you apply your magnetic lash strip.
Adding eyelashes should be one of the last steps in your eye makeup routine. “I always do lashes after shadow and eyeliner,” says Ricky. “If you do them first, you might end up with eyeshadow fallout on top of them. Sometimes, I add a little liquid liner to conceal the lash and finish the makeup.”
If you're using an applicator to apply your magnetic lashes, gently pick up the eyelash strip by the inner or outer corner of the lash and position it on the eye before placing it down. “Secure the lash by using the tip of the lash applicator to hold down onto the lash line for a few seconds,” says McFerran.
Experts agree—though magnetic lashes without eyeliner may seem easier to apply, they can be more damaging to your natural lashes, since they're heavier.
They will actually last for as long as you take care of them as there is no glue to clump up on the lash band, contorting and messing up the lash, which makes normal lashes unusable after a few uses. The lash and eyeliner hold up to 10 hours (essentially, the entire day).
It is recommended that you apply one thin coat of mascara to your natural lashes before applying fake eyelashes. This allows the falsies to easily stick to your natural lashes, and provides a more natural, seamless blend.
You want to curl your lashes after applying the false lashes, but before applying mascara. Once you have applied your false lashes, open the lash curler and position your lashes between the two sides of the curler. You want the curler to be positioned close to the eyelid, but not directly on it.
You can also use whatever eyeliner you like then use our Magnetic Eyeliner over it, if that's easier for you. We know most people have a liner they already like and are comfortable with. They can be used together.
#2 - The Corners of your Eyeliner Aren't Wide Enough
The eyeliner contains the iron oxides, the false lashes contain the magnets, so they work together to stay put. If you don't have enough eyeliner on your eyelid, the magnet won't have anything to grab onto and ends up popping up!
However, you don't want to wear them swimming or sleeping- and don't apply mascara on top of the magnetic extensions, and never pry them apart from one another to avoid unnecessary strain on the magnets. Question: Are magnetic eyeliner system safe for eyes?
You just dip a cotton swab into the All-In-1 Makeup Remover and gently sweep it along the magnets until they are clean. Step 3: Put your lashes back into the box they came in.
So basically, using a cotton bud soaked with Micellar Water (or any makeup remove) and then gently roll away the eyeliner. This method is very gentle on the skin and will also prevent makeup remover from getting into the eyes.
The strip should start where most of your natural lashes begin. If it's too close to the inner corner of your eye, it'll have trouble staying on and it can irritate your eyes. To determine where they should end, count about two to four lashes inward from the edge of your outer counter.
Tested beauty tip: Apply the strip to your upper lash line base (on top of your natural lashes), not on your eyelids.
Falsie match: You'll want extra length eyelashes that curl up and away from the eye so as to make your eyes appear larger. Tip: highlight the inner corners of your eye to make them appear even larger, and avoid lining your lower eye line with dark colours.
Apply your lash glue strategically.
Glue and bend. Meaning, don't just glob it on and immediately stick it to your eyelid. You've got to wait and let that goo dry a little — but not too much. About 30 seconds should do it, Simkin recommends, enough to leave it feeling tacky but not wet.

I don't recommend them for everyday use. If you wear them too long, for example, or sleep with your magnetic lashes on, it can lead to infection of the eyelid or lash loss,” said Gafni. "I think they're fine for special occasions but should not be your go-to for your everyday makeup routine."
In order for them to actually work, the 'top' lash (which sits on the top lash line like normal) clings to the 'bottom' lash (which sits just by your top waterline) through your real lashes. You can wear them with or without mascara.
Can I wear them with glue? Definitely not – if you apply Lola's Lashes using glue you could damage the magnets and also, you shouldn't need to use glue to keep them in place. Our magnetic eyeliner and lashes are wind proof up to 75mph, as well as being waterproof. Say goodbye to glue once and for all!
You can also avoid getting the magnetic eyeliner onto your lash magnets by waiting until your liner is COMPLETELY dry before lock in your lashes. This is usually about 2 minutes. Once your lash magnets are free and clear from residue — they will work like a charm!
