Manic panic is basically container and pigment. There's no need to mix it with more conditioner unless you want a lighter color. It is safe to leave overnight, it's like a deep conditioner (even without mixing any in) just put a shower cap or a plastic bag over your hair and sleep on it.
Manic panic won't damage your hair overnight. Since it doesn't contain developer it is safe to leave on without a time limit.
Leaving washable hair dye in overnight can lead to a few potential outcomes: Color Intensity: The color may become more intense or vibrant than intended. Washable dyes are designed for temporary use, and prolonged exposure can deepen the shade. Staining: There's a risk of staining your hair, scalp, or bedding.
Manic Panic won't cause any damage at all, it just deposits color (won't cause any breakage or split ends etc). worst it would do is stain your hair and be hard to wash out, on occasion, but it's more likely to wash out quickly and be messy than it is to stain.

As our colours are semi-permanent we do recommend that your dye is left to process for 30 minutes minimum but you could leave it on for a couple of hours if you wish. Applying heat to hair dye that is processing can help to open the cuticle of your hair and allow it to absorb the colour a lot more easily.
Product Build-Up: Leaving pomade in your hair overnight can result in product build-up, as the residue accumulates on the scalp and hair strands. Over time, this build-up can make the hair appear greasy, dull, and weighed down.
It also depends on the color you choose, as some Manic Panic colors last longer than some Arctic Fox colors Blue shades from Manic Panic will fade out longer, while red and purple hues from Arctic Fox will stay longer. But if you base it on application, Arctic Fox comes out on top.

We often get the question: how long do you have to let the hair dye sit before rinsing it out? The answer is, you always have to let the dye sit for at least 35 minutes from the moment you've finished applying all of the dye. After 45 minutes the dye loses it's effect so it's no use letting it sit any longer.
If using Tulip One-Step Dye, let your items sit for 8-24 hours to absorb the dye. The longer your dye sits, the more intense the color will turn out.
In general, you'll want to wait about 24 to 48 hours after dyeing your hair to wash it.

"If you leave your color on for too long, there is potential for extra deposit of pigment to occur. You can't make your hair too light by leaving a tint color on too long (unless you're bleaching), but it can make your hair darker than intended," says Tardo.
After Dyeing:
Rinse hair color with cold running water (making sure to avoid your eyes and face). Shampoo and conditioner are unnecessary since Manic Panic acts as a conditioner. Make sure to rinse thoroughly over the sink (but be mindful of where you rinse at it can stain porous surfaces)!

Leave the color on for 30 mins-1 hour, then rinse with cool water until it runs clear. Manic Panic colors are free of harsh chemicals, but they can stain towels, clothes, and porous surfaces. Make sure you dry your hair with dark towels and avoid splattering the dye on carpets.

Ensure you apply your dye to dry hair. Deposit the correct amount of the Manic Panic hair colour into the mixing bowl. It's much easier to ensure you cover all of your hair thoroughly with the dye by sectioning your hair and working in even smaller sections within these.
Any non-permanent dye will fade with time, but if you're looking for a fun new color and don't mind a bit of maintenance, go with Manic Panic or Splat. Manic Panic offers dyes that last a little longer and are backed by an ethical company, but it doesn't offer as many extreme colors as Splat.
Leave hair oil on overnight. The trick here is to use the hair oil as a pre-treatment. The gentle active ingredients of a hair oil do not harden but instead moisturize and soften the hair. Pro tip: Work the hair oil into your entire hair in the evening.
Continuous overnight use of certain hair products, especially those not designed for such extended wear, can alter the natural texture of your hair. This can leave hair feeling dry, brittle, and more prone to breakage.
1) Product Buildup
This buildup can leave your hair feeling sticky and stiff and may even clog hair follicles, leading to weakened strands prone to breakage.
