During the later years of his life, Prophet
After a few years Prophet Ayub (peace be upon him) suffered from skin disease. His parts of body were covered with loathsome sores. He had many ugly looking ulcers on his face and hands. The sores were full of worms.
But Naaman had a painful skin disease called leprosy. The servant of Naaman's wife was an Israelite girl. The girl had faith in the Lord.
He lost his children and his whole family except his wife who remained devoted to him. Historians have recorded different durations and the extent of the Prophet's illness. Some claimed his illness lasted three years, others claim seven years, and others claim eighteen years.

It has been said that the Prophet (pbuh) observed Wudu by washing his hands and face only once, although sometimes he washed them two or three times. According to Abdullah ibn Zaid, “The prophet was given water that fills his palm, and he rubbed out his forearms” (Hanbal, 1986).

He merely laid himself on the dead body twice and the dead rose up. After his death, his dry bones raised back to life a dead man. Yet with all his anointing, he died sick.
Because she did not trust in God, Miriam was struck with leprosy. When Moses asked God to remove the disease from her body, God said she would be healed in seven days. Until then, she had to separate herself from the rest of the people and wait outside their encampment.
Studying the Scriptures. Do activity A as you study Leviticus 13–14. Because leprosy was so visible and involved the decay or corruption of the body, it served as an excellent symbol of sinfulness. Sin corrupts someone spiritually the way leprosy corrupts someone physically.
His complexion has a tinge of redness. His shoulder bones are broad and his palms and feet are fleshy.
He did not have time carry out Ghusl (ablution). Muhammad is said to have seen angels giving Hanzala a bath in between heaven and earth with fresh rainwater kept in silver vessels. Shirk signifies the accepting of a presence of other divinities at the side of God. The Quran states that: He who associates with God has surely forged a great sin (ithm). This association with shirk is noteworthy for shirk is considered unforgivable if not repented of.
