Juvederm and Restylane are currently the longest-lasting and most durable dermal fillers on the market. Juvederm and Restylane are families of hyaluronic acid fillers with numerous possible formulations.
Many plastic surgeons say that Juvederm and Restylane are the most durable and longest-lasting fillers available. Both contain hyaluronic acid and are good for smoothing wrinkles and lines. Hyaluronic acid carries 1,000 times its weight in water and makes the skin look young, supple, and soft.
Hyaluronic acid (Juvederm, Restylane) and polylactic acid (Sculptra) are two types of dermal fillers recommended for use in the cheek and under-eye area. These types of dermal fillers are temporary. Other fillers, such as Radiesse (hydroxylapatite), are also used off-label for this area.
Some dermal fillers have been studied to last close to two years. The three fillers that tend to last the longest are Restylane Lyft, Restylane Defyne, Restylane Refyne, Juvederm, Voluma, Radiesse, and Sculptra.

Around the Cheeks
Similarly, Radiesse is a long-lasting dermal filler that contours, lifts, and volumizes the cheeks. The results of this injection last roughly 15 months. If you opt for this injection, we strongly recommend that you come in after seven months for a touch-up treatment.
Restylane Lyft is a filler designed to be used in areas around the cheeks, mouth, and nose. It adds form and shape to the cheeks while reducing wrinkles. As one of the more popular injectables, Restylane Lyft has made a noticeable difference in patients' cheeks for up to 12 months.
Juvederm Voluma is the only filler proven to last up to 2 years. The hyaluronic acid in Juvederm Voluma slowly metabolizes over time, so patients often opt for a follow-up treatment when their results start to diminish.
Juvederm Voluma is an incredibly natural looking filler to lift the cheeks and improve volume in the mid face. Even a syringe or two and can make you look less tired and hollow and subtly raise a sagging jawline.
Restylane is more granular, while Juvéderm is smoother. For this reason, Juvéderm is often used to address finer lines and wrinkles in tighter areas of the face such as the smile lines. Restylane – which stays in place better when injected – may be more adept at adding volume to sunken areas of the face.
Cheeks: Cheeks are very versatile and also the most challenging region of your face to treat. For each treatment, you'll need 10 to 15 filler syringes. Injecting too much filler might result in undesirable side effects, including a “duck-billed” appearance.
Why Are Filler Results Temporary? Dermal fillers are created using naturally occurring enzymes, such as hyaluronic acid. For this reason, they are metabolized by your body over time. The speed of your metabolism will greatly affect how long your treatment results last.

In general, the results of JUVÉDERM VOLUMA cheek filler are typically visible for around a year. However, patients sometimes find that the results are visible for up to two years once they start getting maintenance treatments.

Radiesse is also a dermal filler, but because it is calcium based, it can last longer than Restylane. It has the appearance of a soft, white paste. Radiesse has a longer lifespan, but is also harder to correct and shaping, making it a better option for more experience dermal filler injectors.
Most patients will notice the results of Radiesse for 18-24 months (and possibly longer) while Juvederm results last for up to 1 year (2 years for juvederm voluma). Patients can choose to maintain the results provided by either Radiesse and Juvederm by undergoing periodic maintenance treatments.
Answer: Radiesse - How many syringes? Thank you for your question and photos. It is difficult to give you without examining you in person. However, I recommend starting with 1 syringe of Radiesse and if you want more volume you can have more injected until you reach your desire look.
While dermal fillers, like Radiesse®, Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Sculptra®, provide noticeable outcomes, results are temporary. This is because our bodies metabolize these products slowly over time. Most dermal fillers need to be readministered every 3 – 6 months with some lasting up to a year or longer.
They are often recommended for significant volume loss and injected deep into tissue. Neither product is comprised of hyaluronic acid, meaning that they cannot be reversed or dissolved using Vitrase. In this sense, Sculptra (made of poly-L-lactic acid) and Radiesse, (made of calcium-based microspheres) are permanent.
