Some people are discouraged by the idea of getting injections because they think the effects do not last very long. But, studies have shown that taking zinc supplements will prolong Botox results!
Take a Zinc Supplement

We also recommend you avoid nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) at least five days prior to treatment. Your daily supplement regimen may also increase your risk of post-cosmetic injection bruising, including vitamin E, garlic, and ginkgo biloba.

The body begins to form antibodies against the product. Eventually the antibodies will block Botox® from working, and the facial muscles will recover very rapidly. At that point, there is little point in getting further injections of Botox®. This resistance process typically takes months or years to complete.
