To avoid excessive swelling and bruising, make sure you steer clear of saunas, hot tubs, and super-hot showers for at least two days. This is an important one. Likewise, avoid strenuous exercise, high outside temperatures, tanning beds, steam rooms.
Post-Treatment Instructions Dermal Filler
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours. Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excess swelling. If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.

Post-Appointment Tips

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
Medications and supplements such as aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St. John's Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve and other NSAIDS have a blood thinning effect and can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections.
Fortunately, dermal fillers work very quickly, and you won't have to wait twelve months to see the full benefits of your injections. That said, these injectable treatments take some time to integrate into your tissues, and it's normal for your dermal filler to take up to two weeks to fully settle into your face.
Filler fatigue is a term associated with the repeated use of filler injections over an extended period. With time, patients feel the filler is no longer giving them the results they had previously.

Best Sleeping Positions After Filler Treatment
