The Bible says that any woman who cuts and styles her hair to be so short as to look like a man's might as well be shorn (shaved) to symbolize a fallen woman. God views a woman cutting her hair short as a sign of open rebellion toward her Creator (verse 6). Cutting one's hair is not the same as shearing or shaving it.
Hair is a sign of strength, we learned that from Samson. We need to allow Christ to cover our heads and make us spiritually strong. We no longer are under bondage from Laws, we are free and righteous because of the power of Christ, who lives in our hearts. God wants us to look good inside and outside.

Like many questions of should Christians do something that falls outside a sin issue, ultimately it will come down to the personal conviction of the believer. In many countries, it is still considered modest, or sometimes even practical, for a woman to cover her head. In others, men cover their heads.
The long untouched hair was therefore considered as the emblem of personal devotion (or devotedness) to the God of all strength. Thus it was an easy step to the thought that in the hair was the seat of strength of a Samson (Judges 16:17,20).
Hairstyles are markers and signifiers of social class, age, marital status, racial identification, political beliefs, and attitudes about gender. Some people may cover their hair totally or partially for cultural or religious reasons.

Paul makes one final argument to support his teaching that the women in the Corinthian church should wear a head covering when praying or prophesying in church. This time, he points to the example of nature, not theology.
From the historical context and biblical expositions of our key passages in 1 Timothy 2:9-10 and 1 Peter 3:1-5 , it is clear that Paul and Peter did not make blanket statements that prohibit women from totally braiding or plaiting their hair.
Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice--nor do the churches of God.
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: He who has hair should honour it.
