To retain the color of your new brows, you should always apply SPF to the area when exposed to the sun. Direct sunlight can cause pigment to fade prematurely. Avoid the use of exfoliants or chemical peels on the brow area (retin-A,glycolic/alpha-hydroxy acids, exfoliating scrubs, etc.).
We recommend applying unrefined, cold-pressed, organic castor oil from a glass jar or BPA-free plastic container directly to the brows before sleeping. It is highly recommended that clients test castor oil on an area of skin away from their eyes and face before using it on their eyelashes.
Certain skincare products can interact with microbladed brows. Avoid using strong acids, such as glycolic or salicylic acid, retinoids, or exfoliating scrubs in the eyebrow region. Instead, use gentle cleansers and moisturizers to keep the skin healthy without compromising your microblading.
