A perfect face is all about symmetry. Bigger eyes, narrow nose, higher cheekbones, fuller lips and an overall proportionate face is considered to be attractive and supposedly perfect.
Facial beauty is heavily reliant on having eye-catching features. In particular, the nose should be straight and balanced, the eyes should stand out, the lips and smile should draw you in, and the cheekbones should round out your face nicely.
Faces that we deem attractive tend to be symmetrical, they find. Attractive faces also are average. In a symmetrical face, the left and right sides look like each other. They're not perfect mirror images.
Studies have shown that there is surprising agreement about what makes a face attractive. Symmetry is at the core, along with youthfulness; clarity or smoothness of skin; and vivid color, say, in the eyes and hair. There is little dissent among people of different cultures, ethnicities, races, ages and gender.

But the heart shape, otherwise more commonly known as a V-shaped face, has been scientifically proven to be the most visually attractive face shape to have. Heart-shaped faces like those of Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon are deemed as 'mathematically beautiful'.
People with oval shaped faces will stay youthful due to “typically high cheekbones, balanced proportions of forehead and cheeks and sharp contours”, Dr Raj said. Celebrities with oval-shaped faces include Rihanna, Katy Perry and Julia Roberts.
"A strong jawline usually means you have a square or rectangle face shape. If your jawline comes to a point then you have a heart-shaped face," Oquendo said.

Feminine Face Structure
Generally speaking, men have chiseled features and larger bones, while feminine faces tend to have softer, rounder contours. For example, the brow ridge is often softer or not present in women.
