An eyelash tint is calling YOUR name! But what is eyelash tinting? This service involves one of our trained lash stylists applying a semi-permanent dye to your natural lashes, which will not only highlight your facial features but add a rich color to your lackluster lash line.
Your lash tint should last about a month. The dyes are not permanent, so there will be a slow fading of color over time. Typically, our eyelashes fall out naturally at the rate of one to five lashes per day! This is another reason why eyelash tints don't last as long as you might think.
Damages natural eyelashes
Lash tinting can also damage your eyelashes and dry them out. This is because any kind of dye or tint on your lashes and hair will strip the natural moisture out cause them to become dry and brittle. The more your lashes are tinted, the dryer and more brittle they will become.
Eyelash tinting will make your lashes look darker, fuller, longer and beautiful. You'll wake each morning with picture-perfect eyelashes. Your tinted eyelashes won't run even when you're in the water. The process is quick as well as inexpensive.
After the eyelash tinting, you can have fairly dark lashes and they will have a little extra definition. You won't feel any need to wear mascara. And if you do not to wear mascara, you would not feel like you were naked. Eyelash tinting is a safe procedure and you should always ask which dye will be used.
DO THEY TINT YOUR BOTTOM LASHES? They can, it's completely up to you and your technician. Since your bottom lashes are way shorter it may not adhere as well or take in the same way it does on the top lashes.
You must wait 24 hours after a lift and tint to shower. We use 24 hours as a buffer time to allow the lashes to set properly and avoid any issues with the lift. After the 24 hours waiting period you can wash your face and lashes like normal.
The short answer is yes! No matter what type of eyelashes you have, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to use mascara to enhance the lift that's giving your lashes life. You just have to be careful about the type of mascara you use. Think of the process as something similar to hair treatment.
You can definitely wear mascara with your lash lift. Just remember to avoid using any kind of waterproof mascara since most contain some kind of an oil base, like castor oil. Opt for a water-based or mineral mascara with natural fibers to keep your lash extensions looking fresh.
Unlike extensions, you may still want to use mascara after eyelash tinting. While this service will not necessarily affect your lash volume, it does boost their tone and definition. The end result is typically less dramatic than extensions for this reason.
Lash lifting gives you amazing lashes that last for nearly 2 months. Some people are lucky enough to have it last for 3 months as well. That means, for 3 months straight, you get to wake up every morning with amazing lashes. We'd say, the procedure would be worth it.

When can I have my eyelashes tinted? Lashes are typically renewed every two weeks; however, tints should be refreshed every four weeks or as recommended by your stylist, if you're using lash extensions and lash tints at the same time.
Lash lift aftercare is easy
In terms of sleeping, you need to try your best to sleep on your back so your lashes don't get stuck in one position against your pillow. After 48 hours, your lashes should be set completely, meaning there's nowhere near as many restrictions on what you can and can't do.
After the lift, your lashes may feel slightly different to your natural lashes but by fiddling, you may ruin the shape or the lashes may become loose and fall out.
Post-Treatment Aftercare
Do not get your lashes wet or apply any cosmetics for 24 hours after Lash Lifts, as it will neutralize the chemical process and leave you with flat lashes. This includes showering, saunas, steam, sweating, and crying.
Lash lifts are a great alternative to false lashes or lash extensions, but they're not without fault. If the chemical solution is left on too long, lashes become over-processed. The result is frizzy or over curled lashes, which don't achieve the desired effect of long healthy lashes.
Emmy recommends sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, coconut oil or castor oil for best results. If you still want to wear mascara after your lash lift, just make sure you're using a water-based formula and steer clear of waterproof mascara!
Add 2 tablespoons (21 g) of coffee grounds and 1 teaspoon (3 g) of cocoa powder to a small bowl. Mix the two ingredients well so they're fully combined. Be sure to use caffeinated coffee grounds. It not only gives you a richer color, but may also help thicken sparse or patchy eyebrows.
In order to tint your own lashes at home safely, you need to be extra careful when applying the dye and developer to your lashes. Just remember that you want to avoid getting any product in your eyes at all or they'll start watering too much for the dye to have any effect.
“Do not cut your eyelashes, it will not make them grow longer. Eyelash hair is not the same as regular hair,” wrote one particularly impassioned user. “The length of your eyelashes depends on genetics and they have a set cycle, they will on grow to a certain length.
Don't wash your face or get your eye or lash area wet for at least 24 – 48 hours after having your eyelashes tinted. This is because the tint needs time to settle into your eyelashes and washing them too soon will cause fading.
