Coily Hair - Hair is tightly coiled with Z-shaped curls. This is the most dry of the hair types, and needs extra moisturizing to prevent breakage.
Type 4 (Coily Hair)
Coily hair (Type 4) is the driest of all curl types and requires extra moisture and care.
The curlier the hair, the drier it can be. This makes these types more susceptible to dry curly hair. It's especially important to hydrate curly hair and lock in moisture to prevent this from happening. It's fundamental to treat dry curly hair to hydration, in order to supply the natural moisture it lacks.
2A type hair has dense waves starting at the root of the hair. 2B waves start at about midpoint of hair and the waves are extremely heavy. 2C has soft and gentle waves only at the bottom half portion of the hair.
Type 1A is the rarest hair type and is stick-straight without even a hint of a wave.
A general observation across experiments was that straight hair was perceived as younger, healthier, and more attractive than wavy hair and darker shades (medium copper and brown) were perceived more positively than blonde hair.

5c hair type:
Type 5c hair texture has the tightest curl pattern among the other types. It forms a distinct "Z" shape and has a coarser texture. This hair type is often densely packed. Also, it requires extra care to maintain moisture and prevent breakage.
3A hair specifically is a fairly common curl type, though it's not always easy to identify because of its similarity to other curl patterns in the type 3 category.
The most defining characteristic of 4B hair is its tightly-packed Z-shaped curl pattern. Because the Z pattern creates very sharp angles in the hair, 4B hair can be prone to breakage. Another way to identify your hair type is how much it shrinks as it dries-4B hair can experience up to 70 percent shrinkage.
