Microblading Healing Process Day 7-10: Your brows will have probably flaked off and the color will seem too light. This is because you're viewing the pigment in the top layer of the skin. But just wait because the pigment does come back and we'll explain why when we get there.
Tenth-Twelfth Day: At about day 10 to 12, apply a thick layer of balm or coconut oil. Take a hot shower and allow the oil/balm to condition the skin. Remove any excess pigment and dead skin with Q-tip by gently rubbing. Final Healing Day: At this point, your brows will appear very light in color.
In most cases, don't expect to look ``normal'' for about 2 weeks. The first few days your eyebrows are dark af and it looks like you botched your brow makeup. After 4-5 days the peeling starts and you have crazy patches that are so tempting to pick but you'd risk all that hard work out the window.
Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. However, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. The final look of your eyebrows will be apparent approximately 30 days after your procedure.
When can you get your brows wet afterwards? How do you wash your face? Generally speaking, you shouldn't get your brows wet for 7-10 days afterwards. I have been using makeup remover wipes to wash my face and have been extra careful in the shower to not let water hit my face.
When your freshly microbladed eyebrows get wet, the pigment can loosen. Unlike traditional tattoos, microblading does not penetrate deep into the skin. The pigment remains close to the skin's surface, which makes it vulnerable to external factors like water.

Microblading too dark and thick at first is a common problem and you just need to be patient wait until the eyebrows heal completely.
Day 8-10 (Settling In):
- Your eyebrows will begin to settle into their final color and shape. They will begin to appear softer and more natural. - Any scabs or flakes should have mostly fallen off by now.
Gently patting the skin with a sterile DRY cloth helps absorb this fluid without causing any irritation. We understand the urge to wash your newly microbladed eyebrows. However, you'll need to exercise patience and wait at least ten days after your initial microblading appointment before washing them.
After two weeks of microblading, your eyebrows will have undergone significant healing. They may appear lighter than initially expected but don't worry, this is normal. Over time, the pigment will settle – your eyebrows will achieve their final desired colour and shape.
Right after microblading, eyebrows often appear darker and thicker than the final result. This is normal, as the pigment will fade during the healing process. Wait for at least 4-6 weeks to see the outcome before making any decisions.
Sweat. For the same reason that water should be avoided during the healing/scabbing process after microblading, sweat should also be avoided. Sweat comes from the inside of the skin and can push the pigment out and cause the microblading strokes not to retain.
