The results from Botox last anywhere between 2-6 months; the average result lasts about 3-4 months. Why does Botox eventually stop working? Your body makes new neurotransmitters all the time, so the “blocking” effect of Botox gradually wears off as these chemicals start circulating in your body again.
So, What Causes Botox to Wear off? Your metabolism – Your body chemistry will process Botox on its own timeframe, typically the effect lasts 3-4 months. Raising your blood pressure during a strenuous workout, or even doing a downward dog in yoga, can lead to additional swelling in the injection areas. Doing too much too soon can lead to painful bruising and swelling, and even alter your BOTOX results. So, take a week off and if you must do something, go for a walk.

Drink Coffee
