The Russian technique is a group of techniques that basically achieve height on a lip. This means the pink of the lip is raised higher on the top lip and gives the illusion shortening the philtrum. Equally the bottom lip drops lower giving a deeper 'v' shaped curve toward the chin.
The term Russian Lips is derived from the style of lips you often see on Russian stacking dolls – or matryoshka and babushka, to give them their correct name. With Russian Lips, the cupid's bow is accentuated to create something close to a heart shape.
The Difference
Unlike traditional lip filler, an injector using the Russian Lip technique injects the product vertically starting at the base of the lip and drawing the product outward toward the lip border. Rather than starting from the lip border and working inward, the injector works the product from the inside out.
Russian lips tend to be dramatic in nature and therefore less natural looking. However, by request we can place less filler in the lip to produce a more natural looking result. The more that is placed at a single time, the less precision there is over the end product.

Full Lips
Full lips are the most common of shapes and are typically defined by lips that are plump all-around on both the top and bottom, with no gap between.
M shaped lips refers to the top lip that resembles the letter “M,” and is the most difficult lip shape to treat. This is because the muscles on the upper lip curls inferiorly and the anatomy can be challenging to release.

What Causes Duck Lips? Duck lips aren't caused by the filler itself. Large, puffy, duck-like lips aren't usually the result of an allergic reaction or another issue with the filler. Instead, they're caused by overfilling the lips.
