The answer is: Yes. A lower lip lift, in general, is done by excising skin with the idea that we're going to change the contours of the lip. While not as common as an upper lip lift, a lower lip lift can help patients with thin lower lips that may not be a good candidate for lip fillers.
A lower lip mucosal advancement is a surgical procedure that involves use of the tissue already present in the lip to create more volume. Lower lip augmentation is typically accomplished in most offices by using a variety of injectable fillers to create a more volumized, or plumper, appearance.
A subnasal lift (or lip lift) transforms a thin, sometimes nearly absent upper lip into a feminine, attractive, full lip with a natural shape. It is a simple procedure that consists of removing some skin between the lip and the nose, and lifting it to expose the pink portion of the upper lip where lipstick is applied.
This treatment is called a Botox mouth lift, which is a cosmetic procedure intended to fix the droopy corners of the mouth and erase the wrinkles around your lower lip. Aesthetica can assist you with all your beauty needs, helping you achieve your maximum beauty and aesthetic potential.

In an Italian lip lift, two shorter incisions centered directly under each nostril at the base of the nose are created, excess skin is removed, and the skin is sutured within the nostrils. This procedure reduces the space between the upper lip and the nose, and increases the curve of the cupid's bow.
Also called a bull-horn lift, this technique improves the Cupid's Bow by excising a small portion of skin directly under the nose (columella). As this tissue is removed, the lip is naturally lifted and a small section of the teeth can be slightly exposed.
The Russian technique accentuates the cupid's bow to resemble a heart-shape by injecting additional volume and lift into the center of the lips, while the sides still remain relatively in line with the face. The result is doll-like while still appearing naturally full and plump.
Lip lifts cannot be done from inside the mouth. The lip lift incision is made at the junction of the nose and face, inside the nostril and across the base of the columella. Since the scar is hidden inside the nostril, the scar is very well concealed.
While both procedures cause the upper lip to 'kick' out more, the results of lip lift surgery differs from lip flick injections in that the injections relax the muscles around the upper lip, while surgery shortens the distance between the upper lip and the nose (philtrum).
Hollywood Bombshells such as Kylie Jenner, Megan Fox and Courtney Cox have had this painless enhancement procedure done, with amazing results. Dr.
Am I a Good Candidate for a Lip Lift? Most people are good candidates for lip lift surgery. However, if you do not have much space between the top of the upper lip and the base of the nose (usually at least 1.5 centimeters), you may be a better candidate for lip fillers or Botox rather than lip lift surgery.
Lip ptosis (a.k.a. lip drooping) most often impacts the lower lip and is caused by aging, trauma, previous cosmetic procedures, or certain medical conditions. Fortunately, there are a myriad of invasive and non-invasive cosmetic procedures to correct lip ptosis and restore your desired aesthetic and function.

One of the injection techniques that patients are looking for is the “Keyhole Lip”. This is where the lips are filled with a small gap in the center of the lips where the top and bottom lip meet that looks like a “keyhole”. This look is also referred to as “the keyhole technique” or “keyhole pout.”
Hyaluronic acid, or HA, naturally occurs in the body and not only attracts moisture (and volume) to the lips but also stimulates the lips' own ability to produce more collagen. This means you get immediate, natural-looking results and you also see a gradual improvement in your lip area as collagen increases. Dr.
It is important to keep in mind that the Botox lip flip only lasts three to four months, and you'll need to return for treatment about two to three times as often as you would for filler injections.

Does a Lip Lift Change the Nose? The upper lip's skin and the nose's base are very closely linked. As such, if a plastic surgeon doesn't have the appropriate skills or experience, a lip lift can distort the appearance of the nose, particularly the base and the nostrils.
Do Lip Lifts Look Natural? In most cases, the result is a natural-looking fuller smile that many patients refer to as “younger-looking lips. It can be performed independently or combined with other procedures like a brow lift to achieve even more dramatic results.
The procedure is performed by surgically removing skin just above the lateral vermilion border (red lip border) of the upper lip. The surgical incision is concealed within the transition between the vermilion border and the lip skin.
