Use a Visor or swimming goggles - this should offer some protection from getting your eyebrows wet whilst showering.
Use a hair band and wash your face gently because rubbing faster and aggressively water can be touched the hair and don't splash the water on face or use a sponge.
Apply a clear gel or light lotion over your eyebrows before getting into the shower. This will act as a sealant for your hair and make it less likely to become wet. Keep your head tilted down so water doesn't hit your face or head.
When shampooing, I tilt my head back. When it's time to rinse, I stand with my back to the showerhead and tilt my head back until the water is almost hitting my eyebrows. This way the water/shampoo doesn't get in my eyes.
Also when I wash my face I get my hands wet and bring them to my face below my brows and wash that first, then I use two soapy/wet fingers on my forehead so the water doesn't leak down onto my brows!
The ShowrShield PLUS is recommended for beauty applications only. The new PLUS is lightweight, long-lasting, with a reusable clear vinyl facial shield that keeps your face dry from water, soap, & conditioner while showering.
EYEBROW AFTERCARE
Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or makeup touch your eyebrow area during the first 7 days after your procedure.
Put Your Hair Up
The easiest way to avoid wet hair when washing your face is to get it out of the way. Smooth your strands into a high, messy bun so they won't be hanging in the sink. No need to worry about getting your hair wet now.
The most effective and comfortable way to wash your hair without getting in the shower is by using shampoo caps—and more specifically, FreshWipes No-Rinse Shampoo Caps.
When washing your hair or insing the body keep your head back to prevent soap or water from getting into your eyes. Use Lukewarm Water: Steam from hot water might irritate and pain your eyes. For baths, use warm water instead of hot, as it is calming and less irritating.
Wear a shower cap
Incorporating a shower cap into your routine helps keep hair dry while you shower between wash days. They make washing your face and neck easier while keeping your hair dry, so there's no more dancing around the shower to avoid wet hair.
Natural remedies like aloe vera gel, coconut oil, or tea tree oil can also help soothe and moisturize dry eyebrow skin. Gently apply these remedies to the eyebrows, being cautious not to exacerbate any irritation.
Soften Your Brow Hairs
To make the hairs easier to pluck, it's a good idea to soften the skin before you start plucking. The easiest way to do that is by plucking right after you get out of the shower because that opens up your pores, but that's not always possible.
Shower eye shields will protect your eyebrows from getting wet. If you don't have these on hand you can also put on a shower cap and cover your eyebrows.
If you're paranoid about getting the lashes exposed to water/steam then you could possibly wear goggles in the shower (if you desperately need to wash your hair etc). However, just ensure that the goggles are suction proof and aren't pressing against the extensions in any way.
Product Buildup: Without proper cleansing, daily wetting can cause styling products and environmental pollutants to accumulate on the hair and scalp, leading to a dull and lifeless appearance.
Five to 10 minutes is ideal for showering. If you stay in the water too long, it can dry out your skin. Use non-drying soap. Whether you prefer a bar or liquid body cleanser, choose one labeled as moisturizing to help keep your skin hydrated.
Try washing it upside down, as in you lean over the bath tub with your head facing the wrong way. I've been doing that for years, and it works.
SHOWRSHIELD was designed to be very lightweight, comfortable, safe & water-resistant while showering. We use a high-grade durable lightweight plastic for the clear facial shield. The plastic shield conforms to your forehead providing a flexible water-deflecting seal.
Soft Water
Washing your hair with drinking water or purified water will have no negative impact on your hail, follicles or scalp – unless you excessively shampoo your hair until the natural oils are stripped away.
You must keep your brows free from all water, sweat and products. For the first 2 days, do not wash your hair at all or in a traditional manner in the shower (salon washes or dry shampoos are great alternatives).
Matte is your best friend here since it helps soak up some of that oil. Look for a shade that matches your brows to keep things looking natural. When it comes to putting on your brow powder, think of it as a pre-game ritual. Use a blotting paper first to dab away any shine.
