Vitamin C can be used 2 hours after Clear and Brilliant Laser Treatment and will not reduce the effects of the treatment. However, it is recommended that you use only a gentle form of vitamin C, such as OTC-brand L-ascorbic acid or rose hip oil and avoid more acidic forms like magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP).

Beta Hydroxy Acids
So that salicylic acid of yours should not be mixed with your vitamin C serum. It won't be able to help you with discoloration, collagen production, or protect you from UV rays. Additionally, combining the two can cause irritation and dryness.
Avoid skincare products with active ingredients including vitamin A, vitamin C and exfoliants for 3-5 days. No high intensity exercise or excessive heat (hot, steamy showers or hot yoga) in the day that follows as heat can irritate hair follicles. Wear sunscreen always, and staying out of the sun is recommended.
Day 4-5. For days 4 and 5 post-treatment, you may begin to cleanse your face with a mild facial wash such as CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser. Follow these washes with a thin layer of ointment.
Look for moisturizers that contain hyaluronic acid or glycerin to help lock in moisture and keep your skin moist. Avoid using products with fragrances or alcohol as these can irritate the delicate layers of skin post-laser treatment.
Whether you've had a tattoo laser removal or laser hair removal, it is recommended you avoid strong soaps on the treatment area, that includes medicated skin washes, skin scrubs or harsh exfoliants, as well as hydrogen peroxide. Follow the aftercare advice given by your medical or cosmetic clinic provider.

Day 5 to 7 – Continue washing the treated areas with Cetaphil cleanser. Begin using Cetaphil moisturizer instead of Vaseline/Aquaphor if skin is smooth, without crusts and not oozing. Stay out of the sun!
