There is no issue in applying lipstick or chapstick to your lips after having had a filler such as restylane or juvederm in the lips.
After lip fillers or hyaluronic acid filler injections to the lips, we recommend that our patients wait 1 hour before applying anything topically to the lips whether it be lipstick, lip gloss or chapstick.
You are not allowed to smile for a few days after a lip filler. Facial expressions such as smiling, laughing, or frowning should have zero impact on your lip filler. It is actually better for you to smile and gently massage your lips, to help spread the product and produce a more natural end-result.
The filler can take several weeks to soften and settle into your skin. This means that patients won't see the ultimate results of their treatment immediately. Although individual results will vary, many people achieve the full effect within two weeks after receiving their injections.
Avoid lipstick and lip locking
It's best to wait at least six hours before applying lipstick after your lip filler treatment, as it can potentially affect your results or risk infection. We also recommend that you avoid kissing for 2-3 days since it can place pressure on your new lips while they are still settling.
don't use and exfoliating agent for 24 hours or any harsh cleaning brush. don't have a facial massage for at least two weeks. don't drink through a straw for the 1st day as this puts pressure on the lips. don't drink alcohol for at least 24 hours after you have had fillers.
Wait before applying makeup
Do not apply lipstick or any other makeup on and around your lips for 24 to 48 hours after the treatment.

Using a straw will put pressure on your new lip fillers and may cause some discomfort, since there will be swelling after the lip injections. Sucking on a straw may also be awkward to manage with swollen lips. All in all, it's best to drink water without a straw after treatment.
Still, while you can do some light movements with your lips (like smiling or giving a peck on the cheek), you shouldn't kiss aggressively for at least 72 hours after getting lip fillers. Kissing might also be uncomfortable since the lips could be swollen or tender at first.
Try to sleep on your back for 24-48 hours after filler injections. After that, you can safely sleep on your side without worrying that the filler will move with gravity.
During this two week period, the hyaluronic acid in your filler will settle into your dermal tissues and begin to interact with the water in your skin. This process will hydrate your skin and give you a healthy, youthful appearance.
Hydration is key!
Hyaluronic acid binds with water in the body to increase its volumizing effect, therefore it is very important to keep your fluids up while you're recovering. We recommend drinking at least two litres of water a day to get the best possible results from your lip injection.

Don't worry — this is entirely normal, and the lip fillers will soften with time. Your lips may also be swollen and tender, which can contribute to the lip filler feeling hard under the skin.

The fillers under your eyes shouldn't be moved or disrupted by a minor trauma. The results of your fillers should have been fully set after two weeks at the longest. If you're noticing a change in the area where your fillers were applied, you should return to your cosmetic surgeon.
