Botox effects typically last three to six months. For best results, Botox injectors recommend that patients repeat the session after three to four months.
Both Botox® and Dysport® are great choices for 11 lines, and they last for as much as four months. Botox® has other uses, as well. It's used in other types of wrinkles, like your horizontal forehead lines and crow's feet at the edges of your eyes.
Right above the eyebrows and in between the eyes is called the frown lines. According to the recommendations, this requires 20 units. And finally, for the lines further up the forehead, which we just refer to as forehead lines, it takes 20 units of Botox.
Botox® injections work well as a standalone treatment for mild to moderate frown lines. However, if the 11s are deep, Botox® alone may not be enough to reduce the appearance of forehead wrinkles. For the best results with deeper 11s, dermal fillers can be used along with Botox® treatment.
On average 25 units of Botox will give your skin by your glabellar a full correction and will remove the 11 lines. The '11 lines' are the glabellar lines in between your eyes and eyebrows.
Does Botox or filler help with Glabella (11's) lines? Botox is recommended for Glabella lines over filler.
If you want to prevent the earliest fine lines from becoming full-blown wrinkles, preventative Botox can be the solution. Botox is approved for patients who are 18 years and older and most experts agree that patients in their mid to late 20s and early 30s are at a good age for preventative Botox treatment.
The only person you never need to tip is a doctor, even for aesthetic treatments like Botox (another reason to only get injections from a dermatologist or plastic surgeon). Your Guide to Botox Injections
According to Allergan's guidelines, the following units should be given: Crow's Feet – 10 to 12 Botox Units per eye (2 eyes would mean 20 to 24 units) Frown Lines – 20 Botox Units. Forehead lines – 20 Botox Units.
The standard FDA approved dosage of Botox into the 11s area is 20 units; however, every patient is different and will require different treatment regimens. Some will need less and some will need more.
The "standard" dose, meaning what Allergan writes in the product information, is 40 units to the forehead and glabella (11's/frown) combined. If you have more muscle mass you may need more.
For the glabellar, or “11” lines between the eyes, another 20 units may be injected, meaning for your entire forehead, up to 40 units of Botox may be injected. We will take your age and dynamic wrinkles into account to determine exactly how many units of Botox we recommend to treat your forehead.
There's a common misconception that Botox makes you look older when it wears off. On the contrary, regular Botox treatments make you look younger even after the neurotoxin wears off.
For horizontal forehead lines, practitioners can inject up to 15–30 units of Botox. For “11” lines between the eyes (or glabellar lines), up to 40 units are indicated, with higher doses needed in male patients .

Can you still get BOTOX® even at a late age? Yep! BOTOX® works beautifully even for more advanced signs of aging.
If you stop BOTOX treatments after many years of regular injections, the only effect will be that your wrinkles will return, albeit a bit more slowly than if you had not been using BOTOX. It's true: Even after you stop, you will still look younger than you would have if you had never been injected.
There is no upper age limit for people who want to have Botox. In fact, many women enjoy the refreshed look they can get from Botox and complementary treatments when they are in their 60s or older.
While Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and, most recently, Jeaveau, are the only FDA-approved neuromodulators for the "11" lines, Botox is the only one that's FDA-approved for between the brows, on the forehead, and around crow's feet (if that's also a concern for you).
