For removing lip lines, you'll need about 6 average units. If you're interested in having lip flips, you'll need around 4-6 units. If you aim for plumper lips, Botox is best paired with dermal fillers.
In general, most lip fillers contain between 20-50 units per syringe. And most patients require 1-2 syringes per treatment session. So, if you're considering lip filler, be sure to ask your doctor how many units will be required for your desired look.

They indicate that dermal injections last for 6 months and that 1mL of dermal lip injections should be used for the lips. However, it is our philosophy that injecting 1ml of filler in patients' lip area every 6 months is excessive.
The average treatment will require just 0.5 to 1 ml of filler to achieve the desired effects, so you are unlikely to need more than one syringe of dermal filler. In some cases, a little more filler may be used to achieve a more dramatic look, but it would rarely require more than 2ml (or 2 syringes) of filler.
Most filler syringes contain 1.0 ml (milliliters or cc) of product. This includes products such as Restylane and Juvéderm–which also includes Voluma, Vollure, Ultra, and Volbella. Is 1ml Of Dermal Lip Filler A Lot? 1ml of dermal filler falls within the average amount. It still creates a natural increase. Everything over 1ml creates a more dramatic look, and this is something that should be taken into consideration by patients.
You should NEVER leave a tip for your PA/NP or nurse injector. Injectables are medications, just like a blood pressure pill or a thyroid medication.
While the lifespan of dermal fillers can vary considerably between patients, depending on the product, your lifestyle and unique metabolism, Juvederm is the longest-lasting temporary lip filler with results visible for up to a year. Restylane comes in at a close second, with results lasting between 6-10 months.
You can get repeat treatments every six months. Scientists have found that hyaluronic acid injections prompt the skin to produce more collagen, creating more natural plumpness in the lips.
The Results Improve Over Time
Because these injections stimulate your body's production of collagen and elastin, the final results of treatment won't be seen for several weeks. Even as the hyaluronic acid is processed by your body, healthy collagen and elastin grow at a more significant rate.
This is because kissing can apply a lot of pressure to the lips and increase risk of infection due to the number of bacteria on lips. Therefore, it is best to avoid kissing for 48 hours afterwards – but that doesn't mean a soft peck isn't allowed!

Conversely, for those patients who want a subtle change, with hydrated/rejuvenated and slightly defined lips, 0.5ml overall is the right amount. But, if you want an instant plump of the lips and a fuller look, 1ml of lip filler is the best choice.
HOW MANY SYRINGES OF JUVEDERM DO I NEED? Most nasolabial folds will typically require two syringes to fully correct. One syringe of Juvederm is sometimes sufficient for mild nasolabial folds. For lip augmentation, one syringe will sculpt and enhance the lips.
When you have had too much filler, then you may appear to have a bulging forehead, an overly pointy and sharp chin, and overly protruding cheekbones. Furthermore, the filler can stretch and weigh down your skin over time, which is known as filler fatigue.
