CAN I COMBINE MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS WITH FILLER OR OTHER INJECTIONS? We recommend scheduling filler or other injections, such as Botox® or Dysport® at least one week prior to your microneedling treatment, or one week after.
While it may be tempting to combine Botox and microneedling to get the best of both worlds, it's best not to do it at the same time. The two processes can definitely compliment one another, but Botox needs to be administered to healthy, intact skin, and microneedling creates many, many micro wounds.
Your practitioner should advise you to allow at least 2 weeks to pass between your botox and micro needling treatments. The reason is quite simple. Your botox needs up to 14 days to settle and absurd into your muscle tissue. Any strenuous exercise should be avoided for the first 24 hours.
Though, filler injections too soon after microneedling will be more uncomfortable and more likely to cause an unsatisfactory result if any swelling is present after microneedling. Therefore, most of the time it is best to wait around two weeks between filler injections and microneedling.
Most clients see full results at between four and six weeks following treatment. This gives your body enough time to produce collagen and elastin and to send it to your micro wounds.
Both microneedling and Botox injections are safe and effective for patients with all skin types. Depending on patient needs, you may even recommend both, using microneedling to improve the surface and deeper condition of the skin, with Botox injections to help improve results longer term.
In most cases, your permanent makeup artist will advise you to get your microblading BEFORE getting botox. And, when you have had microblading done, it's best to wait for at least 4 weeks before you go ahead with your botox appointment.
Here's why: if you Botox before Microblading, we will create your brow based on your Botoxed features, but once the effects of Botox wear off, then the brow placement may not settle where you want it. So, Microblade first.
Please ensure you have allowed adequate time (at least 2 weeks) for any permanent makeup or injectables to heal prior to Microneedling.
Can you have microdermabrasion after Botox? Yes. However, most doctors recommend waiting at least 24 hours after Botox before having any kind of facial rejuvenation treatment. Excessive pushing or pressing on the skin can interfere with the effectiveness of your Botox treatment.
Getting Botox before microblading is not advisable because once the effect of Botox wears off, your eyebrows would restore their original position, leaving you with a distorted shape. If you are planning to get both treatments, then combine them in a way that microblading is done first and Botox later.

How Soon Can I Have a Facial After Botox? You should wait at least 24 hours after Botox injections before having a facial. Most facials require pressure and massage to the face, which could be detrimental to your healing.
After Care: Botox or Dysport Treatment
Do NOT receive facial treatments (facials, eyebrow waxing or threading, no clarisonic brush) or microdermabrasion after Botox/Dysport injections for at least 2 weeks.
You can get a chemical peel and Botox and Filler right after a Dermaplane Treatment. But you cannot do Botox/Fillers or a Chemical peel and then do a dermaplane on the same day. Avoid swimming, intense workouts and saunas for 2 days post-treatment.

When it comes to Kybella and Botox, you don't have to choose between them. In fact, you can get both. Because they are two entirely different injectables, we have found that most patients can get both of them done without any complications or adverse side effects.
For a minimum of 3 days post-treatment, avoid using anything perceived as 'active' skincare. This includes products which contain Retinol, Vitamin C, Hydroxy Acids or Beta Hydroxy Acid. For 24 hours, avoid sunbathing, intentional direct sunlight and tanning beds. Stay away from swimming for 24 hours post-treatment.
Treat your skin gently for several days. Laser and IPL treatments should be done prior to injection of fillers or you need to wait 4 weeks.
Massaging it after 2 weeks, and repetitive trials to use it, have shown to help in some cases. Heating pads: DON'T apply heating pads until 2 weeks after treatment. After 2 weeks, apply heating pads can help increase the blood supply to the affected areas, allowing Botox to wear off faster!
Microneedling is the act of poking tiny holes in the skin (in this case, brow hair follicles) to wake them up and help regenerate hair growth. A microneedling tool is used over the brow area repetitively, especially where growth is sparse or might need extra attention.
Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling allows tightening of the skin around the eyes by creating controlled micro wounds to encourage the generation of new and healthy skin. These tiny wounds trigger the production of new collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid which helps create a lifted look in the eyebrows.
How Does Microneedling Help Restore Eyebrows? Microneedling combined with PRP is known to stimulate hair growth by using tiny needles to wake up hair follicles, helping them grow thicker and more dense. Especially on eyebrows!
