Fortunately, dermal fillers work very quickly, and you won't have to wait twelve months to see the full benefits of your injections. That said, these injectable treatments take some time to integrate into your tissues, and it's normal for your dermal filler to take up to two weeks to fully settle into your face.
Dermal fillers are instant, so you can see a visible result immediately after injection. It takes up to 4 weeks for the filler to fully integrate into the tissue and some fillers are more cohesive than others.
There is little to no downtime after receiving lip fillers. The swelling around the injection sites will go away, and you will begin to see great results after a few days, with the maximum results after 14 days.
The Results Improve Over Time
Because these injections stimulate your body's production of collagen and elastin, the final results of treatment won't be seen for several weeks. Even as the hyaluronic acid is processed by your body, healthy collagen and elastin grow at a more significant rate.
On average patients get 1 full syringe during their first appointment. If they want more after that, they can do so after their lips have healed. We have several patients get 1 syringe in their lips and come back a week or two later to get a second syringe.

Most commonly, just 1 syringe is used for augmenting the lips, regardless of the type of filler you use.
