To correct or confirm the shape your brows must be re-mapped, re-drawn and then approved by you. If the colour is wrong then they may need to be lightened or cooled down first, before a new and different pigment can be applied. In the worst scenario, manual removal may be needed to take out the incorrect pigment.
Bad microblading can be corrected but there is a caveat: You should wait until the work from your initial appointment completely heals before going back to get your brows fixed.
If you've given them sufficient time to heal and fade and you're still experiencing significant distress regarding the size, shape, thickness or color of your brows (your artist failed to produce the brow design you requested), it may be worth an attempt to fade your brows quickly to get back to normal.
As mentioned above, microblading can last anywhere from 18 to 30 months. In general, it requires touch-ups once or twice a year. Once pigment from the procedure begins to noticeably fade, you'll need to go back to your practitioner for a touch-up application.
Sea Salt - Once a day for the next 10 days, mix crushed organic sea salt with luke warm water, use 2 clean cotton pads soaked and rinsed in this sea salt water mix to gently cleanse the unwanted eyebrow tattoo areas in gentle, patting motion. Leave on for a couple of minutes. Take off and rinse clean with clean water.
Although they're the safest and most effective options, professional removal techniques are expensive and require several sessions, so the removal lasts for months. So, some clients who are not satisfied with their microblading or other brow tattoo treatment fade them with hydrogen peroxide paste.
Retinol can be very effective in fading microblading, as well as other forms of brow tattoo, such as powder brows, ombre brows, nano brows etc. If you want your microbladed brows to appear lighter, apply retinol creams onto the area for some time. Many people get great results, and hopefully, you will too.
Within the first 72 hours after the treatment, you can try fading microblading with hydrogen peroxide. Make a paste-like concoction of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, apply it to the brows, and rinse it off after a few minutes.
Avoid using chemical skin exfoliants on the brows and forehead area. Use of these products will cause premature fading and tattoo discoloration. Examples may include but are not limited to: Glycolic Acid, Hydroquinone, Retinol, Retin A, Vitamin C, "peels" or "brightening."

Saline correction can significantly lighten and remove unwanted semi permanent makeup, microblading and body tattoo's. This method is safe for removal of eyebrows, lips and even eyeliner. Your brow shape is fine and pigments didn't migrate out of the initial outline, but the color of microblading after 5 years has turned either reddish/orangey or gray/bluish. If your brows are not too saturated, this can be fixed with a microblading color correction.

Picking your scabs may result in a loss of pigment that may need to be re-applied. How long does the scabbing last? The entire scabbing process should only last about 5-7 days. It usually doesn't start until around day 4 and continues till around day 12.
Just mix salt with a drop of water and rub the treated area. It combines exfoliation with the property of sodium chloride to draw the pigments out of the skin, diminishing the visibility of the results. Some people say this is one of the most effective ways how to remove microblading at home.

One week before, stop taking vitamin E, B6, omega 3, gingko biloba and St. John's wort as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect how well the anaesthetic works. (You can take up your your vitamins again 72 hours later.) Just don't go discontinuing any prescribed medication without your doc's permission.
Do not use petroleum jelly (like Vaseline) as this causes the brow to sweat underneath. Do not use anti-bacterial ointments because they will remove pigment from your brows. Keep your fringe away from your eyebrows for the first 3 days as this is the easiest way to cause infection.
*Coconut or grapeseed oils are great for microblading healing because they are thinner than ointments (such as aquaphor) so they do not suffocate the wound or draw out pigment.
Getting the brow is too wet after microblading, or using the wrong ointment and even getting too much sun are all possible reasons for fading. Most people choose the dry healing option because it avoids some of the tediousness of wet healing and it results in a crisper finish.
Apply coconut oil to the microbladed area in the morning, afternoon and evening when needed. Make sure you only apply the coconut oil when your brows start to feel dry or tight within the first 7 days of your application. Do not over use the coconut oil.
