Many patients wonder whether using an ice pack after lip fillers will “freeze” the filler or cause it to migrate. Fortunately, applying ice to the lips after JUVÉDERM injections is perfectly safe when patients follow their provider's instructions.
Answer: Will Ice Move Lip Filler
Placing ice gently on the lips is a great way to help reduce swelling, and should not cause the filler to move. If you can also avoid activities which will cause your blood vessels to dilate, such as exercise or drinking alcohol, this will also help the swelling to subside faster.
To dissolve lip fillers, you'll need to receive injections of hyaluronidase (Hyalase) near the filler. Hyaluronidase is a concentrated synthetic form of an enzyme that naturally occurs in your body. When injected, it begins to break down the filler, speeding up the dissolving process that would take place over time.
Sun exposure speeds up the aging process on the skin and is one of the leading causes of wrinkles. Those UV rays can also cause certain fillers to break down faster and being absorbed by the body more quickly. To get the best results, use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 every day.
As long as you gently place the cold compress on your lips and avoid applying excessive pressure (for example, don't try to hold the compress between your lips), it's perfectly safe to ice your lips. You can apply the cold compress for 5 –10 minutes at a time in the 24 to 48 hours after your injections.

don't use and exfoliating agent for 24 hours or any harsh cleaning brush. don't have a facial massage for at least two weeks. don't drink through a straw for the 1st day as this puts pressure on the lips. don't drink alcohol for at least 24 hours after you have had fillers.
Your body naturally dissolves the dermal filler for you over time using a substance called hyaluronidase. This is a naturally occurring material in your body that gradually breaks down the hyaluronic acid in your filler, causing your results to gradually diminish over a period of 6 – 18 months.
Massage can encourage the filler to be broken up by the body more quickly. But in practice this still takes a long time (like weeks of daily vigorous massage) to improve the outcome. This may also spread the product over a larger area causing more problems.
Massaging the treated areas can disrupt the dermal filler and cause the hyaluronic acid solution to move out of place. This can lead to an uneven or lumpy appearance.
You cannot dissolve lip fillers at home. Only licensed medical professionals can administer the enzyme hyaluronidase. However, you can wait for your dermal fillers to dissolve on their own.
Will massaging my lip filler break it down? If you feel lump or lumps in your filler, massaging it gently with the help of your index finger and thumb. Over time, it will break down the lip filler.

Although extremely rare, dermal fillers are able to migrate within the skin if consistent and adequate pressure is applied to them. For this reason, we advise patients not to get a facial, massage (on the treated skin), or microdermabrasion for the first two weeks following their filler injections.
Not to worry though, lumps following a filler treatment are completely normal. The lumps you may experience are often caused by swelling and bruising of the treated area. We would not recommend massaging or using force to reduce the lumps yourself, as this may impact your final results.
The filler will start to break down and soften immediately, although depending on the location and how much needs to be dissolved, it may take up to two weeks for it to completely dissolve and settle back to natural.
Answer: Dissolving Juvederm can be done at anytime, but usually wait at least a week after injection. Using hyaluronidase to dissolve Juvederm can be done at anytime. The results of a treatment take about 7-10 days to fully appreciate because Juvederm tends to spread a little. I'd wait, but it's up to you.
Lip fillers can take 6-12 months to dissolve naturally but if you're unhappy with how you look, have visible bumps from the initial injections, or have other complications you may want quicker results. So, how do you dissolve lip filler?
Can you Kiss After Lip Filler? Kissing can apply a lot of pressure to the lips and increase risk of infection (there is a lot of bacteria in the mouth!), so it is best to avoid kissing for 48–72 hours after getting lip filler treatment.
Can I Put Vaseline on My Lip After Filler? You can apply vaseline or any mild moisturiser if your lips are dry following the procedure. Use a brush or your finger to apply a thin covering and avoid pressing down on your lips.
We recommend avoiding alcohol consumption for at least 24 hours after getting lip fillers.
