Grey. An often overlooked but excellent option in the realm of dark-skinned men's fashion is the color Grey, especially charcoal grey. And just like blue, it is another no-brainer option for you. Since it is a neutral shade, pairing options with grey are limitless.
Black, true gray and navy make great base colors for black, brown or olive skin with warm, yellow and golden undertones. More colors that complement your features are aqua, turquoise, evergreen, tangerine and orange-based reds.
Neutrals: Black, white, and grey are classic choices in dark skin men fashion that never go out of style.
Dressing for Dark Tan Skin
Avoid pastels and neon hues that will clash with your cool-toned skin. Experiment with different shades of warm undertones like peach and navy blue to find what works best for you. Patterns like jade green or floral prints can also enhance the richness of your complexion.
Those who have a cool skin tone should choose more blue-based greys, such as steel or slate, while those with warm skin tones are better off going for warmer taupes and mink-like tones.
Neutral tones are also an excellent choice for tan skin tones. They work well with any hair color and provide a classic, timeless feel. Beige, gray, and off-white are perfect examples of neutral colors that fit seamlessly in any wardrobe.
Dark Skin with Warm Undertones
Dark Blue, Burgundy, and even Black are all incredibly easy to wear. Stay away from anything with a very pale or cool undertone, like Ice Blue, Silver, or Mint Green. The contrast can look too harsh against your dark skin. White, however, is the one exception.

Vivid reds and pinks are your go-to classics, but mauve pink, fiery red-orange, deep purple, blacks, bronze, green, almond, mocha and caramel based neutrals are all going to look terrific. As will bold, bright colours. And even yellow.
Use Pink, Yellow, or Orange Color Corrector
As we explained above, peach and pale yellow shades are ideal for those with fairer skin, while deeper orange shades are best for those with medium to dark skin tones.
According to a study called “Shades of beauty,” light brown skin tones are often the most physically attractive skin color (Frisby et al., 2006). They used four models for that study. They did not change the skin tone, but they imaged each model to three different skin tones: light, medium, and dark.
Brown + Gray
Create a sophisticated living space with deep brown walls and neutral accents. Here, a white chair, gray rug, and neutral artwork balance the darkness of the wood paneling, while a white ceiling with rustic wood beams adds interest.
Pastels, neons, very light shades, and ashy/dull colors can potentially wash out or clash with brown tones. Pastels and neons can drain warmth, while very light shades can overwhelm and make you look sickly. Ashy or dull colors can clash with the natural warmth of brown skin.
A medium grey that is completely neutral can be worn by anyone. There are some people that can wear grey better than others though. If you have soft muted tones... or if you are a toned summer, shaded summer or soft summer... grey is always going to look good on you.
Navy blue, brown, black , grey are the best suit colors for brown skin tone.
Dark: Earthy tones like peach, coral and jewel tones of blue, olive and purple work best. Avoid extremely bright tones especially during the day. Undertones: Don't be intimidated by the fact that the term 'undertone' is thrown around by fashion specialists.
The colour of your skin is perfectly positioned to match the vast majority of hues and shades. The best part is, it doesn't run the risk of being washed out like pale skin tones. The safest colours to match with darker skin are white, bright or light colours – that said, your tone provides a wide array of options.
Which one do you use? It all boils down to your skin tone. Peach is more suitable for fair to medium skin tone while orange is meant for medium to dark skin tone. Fair skin tones should lean more towards a salmon pink while deep skin tones can try a red one if orange runs light for them.
What to Avoid: Very dark colors like deep brown or black, or overly light pastels like powder blue or pale peach. hy: Dark colors can fade into your skin tone, losing definition, while pale pastels might not provide enough contrast, making your outfit feel muted.
Brown is a versatile color that pairs beautifully with a range of hues. For a natural, earthy look, consider greens, blues, and beiges. For something more vibrant, mustard, burnt orange, and even rich purples can complement brown nicely.
Navy blue is the perfect subtle color that looks amazing on dark skin.
Dark Skin Tones: When you're looking for colours that complement your skin tone, think about those warm colours. Warm colours, such as pastels (light pink, baby blue, periwinkle, mint green, lavender), yellows, blues, and purples tend to look good on darker skin tones.
People with warm skin tones and complexion will look best in colors with the same undertones. If you have a warm complexion, avoid colors in your clothing and cosmetics that have cool (blue) undertones. Figure 2.
