We generally recommend sticking to one self tanning product per application. If you do not find the colour to be as deep as you would like, you can always apply a second coat 30-60 minutes after initial application, or the following day.
Apply 2 Layers Of Self Tanner
If you layer up your ultra dark self tan foam without allowing it to dry it gets tacky and will not sink deep enough into the skin. Do one full body layer give 30 min to dry & re apply.
It's generally safe to apply more self-tanner after washing it off, especially since you let it develop for several hours. Just make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying another layer. Keep in mind that it might deepen the color, so be cautious with the amount you use!
**Risk of Over-Tanning**: Applying a second layer can lead to a much darker and potentially unnatural appearance. This may result in an uneven or patchy finish, especially in areas where the product tends to gather.
You don't necessarily tan faster in water or laying out. This is because water reflects UV rays, so you may not be getting as much exposure as you think if you're actually in the pool.
Use a wash off tinted lotion on your body or a tinted face gel to top up your tan if you don't have time to apply another layer.

Stand-up beds allow your body to tan all around without any pressure points, leading to a more even tan. Some people like them even better because the body isn't in direct contact with the bed. To achieve the best and most even tan, it's crucial to rotate between using lay-down and stand-up beds.
There's no reason why you can't apply sunless tanner over a suntan Рyou'll deepen your existing colour, creating a richer, layered hue that balances out an uneven complexion. But remember that this won't make your tan last any longer; it will simply make it darker.
The answer is yes! The self-tanner does not block UV rays, so you can still get a tan even if you're using a self-tanner. While the self-tanner will make your skin look like you've spent some time in the sun it won't actually block the UV rays from reaching your skin.
