probably at least a cup of the Oxy Clean and Biz, ½ - ¾ cup of Cascade and ⅓ cup of Dawn. if you are using a larger container, use more soap. then, mix it all up. let all the soap crystals dissolve in the warm water.
OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover should not be mixed with Chlorine bleach or household chemicals other than in the wash with your regular laundry detergent.
Do not mix OxiClean with other chemicals. This includes ammonia, chlorine bleach, and other household chemicals.
Bleach and soap don't mix! Mixing chlorine bleach and cleaners like dish soap can be harmful to your health. Mixing bleach with other cleaners can release toxic gases.
If there is too large a volume of bubbles to handle with a container, pour one cup of vinegar and a few tablespoons of salt into your dishwasher. Then, run the dishwasher for a few moments. The vinegar and salt should deactivate the dish soap.
Using dishwashing liquid in the washing machine is not a good idea. Washing machines work better with products specifically designed for them, and using dishwasher soap in the washing machine creates much more foam than using a laundry detergent – so you risk damaging the machine (and creating a mountain of suds!).
While OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover is not a laundry detergent, you can use it WITH detergent to boost your detergent's cleaning power.
A: OxiClean is a detergent itself and would not need to be mixed or added with other detergents.
If you're looking for a gentler detergent, baking soda is a great option. Oxiclean becomes just peroxide and washing soda once it hits liquid. So any liquid detergent claiming to contain Oxiclean likely just has peroxide in it.
OxiClean contains several ingredients, but the important one for boosting and brightening laundry is sodium percarbonate — basically, dry hydrogen peroxide plus washing soda (also called sodium carbonate, which is very similar to but not exactly baking soda).
And for more stain fighting power try OxiClean™ detergent. Even if that stained shirt has been sitting at the bottom of the laundry bin forever, OxiClean™ Versatile Stain Remover can get out even old, set-in stains. Fill scoop to line 4 per 1 gallon of water. Submerge stained items in solution after dissolved.
Developed for dark & black fabrics, this Laundry Booster removes stains, helps prevent fading and pilling while keeping dark colors deep and rich and fabrics smooth. It works with laundry detergent to help keep things looking newer longer.
Although Oxiclean is effective at removing stains and grime, it can also leave behind a yellow stain on certain fabrics including shirts and blouses.
Add ½ cup of baking soda to your washer. Add detergent, like ARM & HAMMER™ Plus OxiClean™ Odor Blasters. Run the wash cycle. Add another ½ cup of baking soda in the rinse cycle.
Don't use more than directed. Using more OxiClean than you need to could result in color loss for your clothes and fabrics.
Chemical cleaners that can be used include Lime-A-Way, The Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner and Oxyclean.
OxiClean™ Bathroom Cleaner. This powerful spray cleaner is the only one you'll need to tackle stains in your shower, tub, sink, and even grout. Tough bathroom stains don't stand a chance against OxiClean™ stain fighters that power through grime and stains on all kinds of surfaces.
When you need a strong stain remover for whites, you might be tempted to try chlorine bleach. But color-safe OxiClean™ White Revive™ is designed to get clothes white without chlorine bleach.
A: We do not recommend mixing any Pine-Sol® product with other cleaning products or chemicals. Mixing cleaners can result in the release of hazardous gases.
Mix 1 scoop (2 tablespoons) with 1 pint of warm to hot water. Mix or shake thoroughly. Product will remain active for six hours. Mix 1-4 scoops of OxiClean per gallon of hot water.
Although Dawn® dish soap works great as a stain pretreatment option, it's not meant for direct use in a laundry washing machine. Dish soaps are uniquely formulated to break up grease and stuck-on food particles with foamy suds—something you don't want to happen in your washing machine.
When stains happen, it's So Dawn Easy to pretreat them with the power of Dawn®. *For best results, use a little less than two teaspoons (9.5 mL) of Dawn® Platinum in a top-loading washing machine—be sure not to use too much, and don't use on delicate fabrics like silk.
