Hair removal – Hair cutting, trimming, removing, shaving, plucking, threading, dyeing, or any other alteration from any body part is strictly forbidden.
Shaving or removing hair from any part of the body is strictly prohibited in Sikhism. It's considered as interference with the creation of the almighty God Akal Purakh. Facial hair or pubes none is allowed to be shaved. However, the current trend amongst the men and woman in Sikh community is completely ignoring it.
In Islam, maintaining personal hygiene is emphasized, and removing pubic hair is considered part of that practice for both men and women. The specific guidance regarding pubic hair removal is found in Hadiths (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad).
In the Rehat Maryada (Code of Conduct) for Sikhs, it is clearly stated that the cutting of hair is a forbidden practice for Sikhs, and that if one does, then he/she is considered an apostate. descendants will flourish. Given it's importance, one cannot be considered to be following Sikhism without keeping ones hair.
In Sikhism hair are a part of kakaars which is why cutting hair is prohibited. So a Sikh not only has to wear their hair long they are also to keep them uncut/unshorn.
In the Sikh faith, cutting or trimming hair is discouraged for both men and women who have taken Amrit, the Sikh initiation ceremony. However, it is not explicitly prohibited to trim split ends.
For religious reasons, practicing Sikhs do not cut their hair. Sikh men wrap their long hair with a turban called a pagri (see photo a), a practice that typically takes 10- 15 minutes. Sikh boys wrap their hair in a smaller under-turban called a patka, with their hair knotted on top of their head (photo b).
Religions such as Orthodox Judaism, Rastafarianism, and Sikhism all prohibit haircuts, the removal of facial hair, or a combination of the two due to beliefs that hair is sacred or a gift from God.
Honorable men do fulfill the commitments - We The Sikhs do date and do marry non Sikhs.
Long nails can cause injury and spread diseases. They are an interference in the performance of day-to-day chores as well as daily work done to earn a living. With regards to hair, there is no such injury to anyone. Hair neither causes one nor preads diseases.

A spouse can shave pubes of the other since looking and touching the private parts of spouse is permissible whether it is for enjoyment or any other purpose.
But trimming your pubes-that's a no. If you're not an amridhari-do whatever you want with your pubes. But once you take that Amrit-you keep your kesh-pubes included.

When a man adorns Kesh only then does he have full form. Desa Singh instructs in his Code of Conduct, Rehatnama, text that Singh should wash their Kesh with yogurt every two weeks and then cleanse and infuse it with perfume.
The Orthodox Christianity and Islam put special importance in growing beard. So, shaving has been a controversial thing in both Islam and Christianity.
Given all this, some people are confused about whether makeup and jewelry are permissible for people of faith. But the Bible never says it is wrong or sinful to wear makeup or jewelry. While the wicked queen Jezebel wore jewelry, so did good women of faith such as Rebekah and Esther.
DO WOMEN SHAVE? Initiated Sikhs are not supposed to cut hair from any part of their body. All Sikhs, men and women are thus supposed to have unshorn hair and remain unshaved.
“Religious symbols and Gurbani verses ought to be respected, not flaunted in such disrespectful manner. We appeal to the masses to refrain from engraving the Sikh religious symbols on their body,” said SGPC chief Harjinder Singh Dhami.
Sikhs who do not follow a vegetarian diet may eat meat from any animal, but are prohibited from eating any meat which has been ritually slaughtered, including halal and kosher meat products. However, some Sikhs may choose to not eat beef or pork.
