The only healthy, nonsurgical way to reduce facial fat is overall weight loss achieved through diet and exercise. In fact, working out your facial muscles can have undesirable effects, such as making you appear older.
“You have to do facial exercises consistently six to seven days a week for 20-30 minutes per day. It takes at least three to four weeks before you start to notice results,” she says. And you should consult your dermatologist before tackling a facial exercise regimen. These exercises won't work for everyone.

Facial exercises may significantly reduce some of the signs of aging, according to an interesting new study of the effects of repeating specific, expressive movements on people's appearance.
Start by using your fingertips to gently lift your eyebrows upwards and outwards. Then use your muscles to try and counteract this movement by pushing your brows back down, holding for 8-10 seconds. Repeat this exercise five times for a natural brow lift.

Exercise. Exercise is one of the easiest things you can do to tighten the skin and lose the extra layer of fat around your neck and chin. Sometimes called facial yoga, these exercises help to firm up the area where you have the double chin.
Try a Ponytail or an Updo
Building extra height at the crown of the head narrows round features and makes the face seem thinner. For a simple hairstyle, twist hair into a high knot and fasten with a barrette. Or try a ponytail for the most slimming effect, match the ponytail height to the tips of your cheekbones.
This won't work, either. There are people who swear that doing certain facial exercises and holding certain expressions can make your nose look smaller. But it's collagen that gives your face its shape, and your nose is made of cartilage — not muscle or fat.
